  1. I had a c4 that I was using for salmon and muskie. One day salmon fishing the c4 went off. before I could get to the rod, some thing happened to the reel. I believe the drag seize. It rip the holder out and I kissed the rod and reel good by. Will never buy another one. I also keep my reels in top notch condition.
  2. Do not use high octane fuel in your pre mix if you don't plan to use the hole tank that day. High octane fuel has large amounts of detergents in it that will back down the oil. Most diaphragm fuel pumps do not have enough CFM's to pull the fuel through a water separator. making the engine run lean. Older engines fuel lines should changed to ethanol rated lines. Gas has a shell life of about 6 weeks.

  4. In that price range, Look at Harmon-kardon,Carver,NAD. When it come to Japanese equipment,I shy away. Alot of the electronics made in Canada,Netherlands,Australia and New Zealand I find out perform the Japanese.

  14. My favorite are the body mass indicators. It indicates the I'm over weight. Today while working, came across 4 1.7/8 bolts that some one was to lazy to anti seize. 6 feet of pipe and some heat, no problem. O yeah. Bent the pipe. It was 3/8Th's walled. I bent it lifting up!!! Who are the people that make this stuff up.

  17. My dad has a recipe like that in his cookbook, but he adds dark rum or whisky to his. Sounds Yummy DouG. Joey
  18. When I back troll with my full wind shield. I use the drift sock off the bow. This stops the wind from flinging the bow around and I don't have to work the steering wheel as much to stay straight.

  21. A float suit and a survival suit are two completely different. First the price, a cheap survival suit is $2500 A survival suit doesn't allow water from entering the suit. The ones they use in the north sea can cost up to $15.000.

    The pike was victorious and seemed to not care, for now on Christmas day his cupboards wouldn't be bare, Smallies for breakfast the baby pike sang, as they sat by the fire where their stockings did hang.
