Interesting to see how it shakes out. It will either be par the course, or very bad, and brands like Basscat will see a bump in sales. I feel for the dealers if anything changes though.

I have bought and sold many things from Kijiji. as BillM said, you just ignore what you don't want, and I always meet in a public place. One key for me is always be prepared to walk away. If something doesn't feel right, or they try to change the deal, just call it a day, and wait for the real deal. I've bought some amazing stuff from there, at some crazy prices, and sold some good stuff to great new homes as well.

I thought you could ship whatever you wanted to the store for free? Wouldn't that solve getting something that they didn't have in stock. But as others said, there are lots of other options out there.

Thin Waterproof Gloves - Existence unknown

Looking forward to the updates, my plan: buy some and cheap gloves. -
Thin Waterproof Gloves - Existence unknown

Like the actual material white, or the runoff? May be worth a cheap pair of gloves to make something that's really waterproof. That's my biggest pain when fishing in the fall/spring, cold and wet hands. -

Always wondered about that stuff. Let me know how it does... I wonder if it's safe for gloves and being so close to your face and such all the time. -
Donate Fishing Related Items for the Holidays

I'm going to send it up to manitoubass2 if the shipping isn't too crazy (where cost outweighs the result), if I can't, I'll look into those other great ideas! Thanks guys -
Donate Fishing Related Items for the Holidays

Works for me (purpose achieved even if the time frame is a bit longer). I have a few rod tubes lying around. I'll send you a PM and we'll figure it out. Glad it will go to someone who will enjoy it, and help those less fortunate. -

For sure, it's a RH baitcaster and a older crucial, along with a few other things, that I had lying around the house from years ago. I'm in Toronto though, so not sure how I'd get it to you. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be happy to send it to anywhere it would do good. -
Hey all, It's that time of year, and the holiday season is almost upon us. I take this time to do a cleanout of stuff I don't need, and try to give back to those that need it most. I have a few fishing related items that I could part with, that I'm sure someone would really appreciate (older rods/reels and the like). The only issue, I have no clue where to bring them or where they'll do the most good. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you.

What is the asterix for? I assume there are things that aren't covered under that, wonder what they are.....

What do you do with your reel boxes and packaging...?
mattaw replied to adam lancia's topic in General Discussion
Keep them, if you sell them later on, people tend to want them... they just go into a bigger box... -
My thought as well, seems reasonable for the motor size...

You would think that, but the pike have really heated up for me, getting nice size on swimbaits that are moving pretty quickly. Bass on the otherhand, SLOW as Tim said, the slower the better, they're there, you just have to work for them.

I also have a Mustang MD3153, love it, forget I'm wearing it sometimes. Thankfully like everyone else, I have never had to use it.

I'll be in the area all weekend, out both days of course, I personally like it a bit overcast with a bit of chop, but it's a toss up, if you can just fish both

Why we OFC before Kijiji......Thanks Mattaw and SpeedTroll

Ryan, Thanks so much for the kind words. Glad you got the keys on time! I love the people I meet here, you are all good people. Funny how a quick chat about fishing turns into a few hours eh Hope you didn't get into too much trouble when you got home. Find the time to come fishing, I can't promise musky, but hungry pike and bass are waiting for you. -
Brian, love the tube feeling, I get you, but forget the truck and just fish (or come fishing). But yeah.. Ecoboost is real nice.....

I would always suggest you fill your tank up to almost full if you're going to leave the boat sitting for any period of time. Hot and humid days can equal a bit of water in the tank. I would also second the filling station, be careful where you fill!

This morning before I pulled the boat, it was 61.5 at the coldest at 66 at the warmest at the surface in my lake by Bancroft. Crazy year for sure, some trees are already starting to turn and some of the weeds are starting to die off minorly. Hopefully a stretch of warmer weather holds it off?

I got up over 80 on my lake last weekend for the first time this year. And by over I mean 80.5, should be much colder this afternoon, I guess I'll also fnd out shortly!

How did you come up with your forum handle here? NF, maybe.
mattaw replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
Something my dad and I came up with when I was a kid, just sort of stuck as a online handle...
