  1. This is the page that came up for me. It looks to be a canadian site. I was never looking for fine print. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...eptId=000000000
  2. LBS customer service is 10 times better than bass pros. Nice to hear the prices are getting better.
  3. Thought id treat my self to a new muskie rod to help the winter blues so I looked up bass pro canada on the internet and found a st croix rod for $135 AMAZING! so I hop in my car drove 40 mins to find out 135 is the america price, Canadians are to pay $180. Trying not to even think about how much our dollars worth I explain to the guy that I was sure I googled bass pro canada. His response was that is a common miss conception Well if this has happened before why hasent bass pro simply put a usd beside thier prices!!! I feel like I have been cheated in order to get me in the store. I was more than happy to bring my business to a small local tackel shop.
  4. Favorite new lure... 9" Zar Spook. Not just a tone of fun to watch dance but the crazyest top water hits I have ever seen. Worst buy is tied between Gorilla Tough braid ( rope ) and the fifty dollar shopping spree on Storm soft body lures which only made for good bath tub vids.
  5. I would take on the bear befor the hook in the eye. Nasty!!!
  6. I'm willing to travel so lake choice is not a factor. I thought Kawarthas muskie season went till Nov 30th but I am probably wrong. Thanks to everyone for the great response, I now have a lot of research to do on everyones tips. I appreciate the help.
  7. Can anyone recommend a good muskie charter? What should I expect to spend? I'm looking to get out maybe next Wednesday or the one after that with a buddy. I cant wait to get off the river banks and back onto solid ground (a boat) lol. Thanks for any help.
  8. Thanks for the response. Ill try Bronte tomorrow. Anyone fishing in the morning?
  9. Anyone know if the steel head are in the creek? The water is probably too low. If anyone could save me the drive in the morning that would be great. Thanks.
  10. Elephant and Baptiste are rampant now with 1-2 pound pike. I haven't hit a muskie under 33" in a few years on those lakes.
  11. Can any of you muskie guys convert roughly what a 52 pounder would be in inches?
  12. Nice fish Charlie. Just a little bigger than the one I hit when we were out with Joshua lol.
  13. Thanks that was a great read.
  14. Love the release pic. Nice job.
  15. I now have some good Baptiste shots for my screen saver thanks. Love that lake.
  16. Wow!!!!!! That guy should get the book thrown at him. I spend alot of time down at the pier. I hope its not any of the old boys I see in the mornings.
  17. I was promised a larger penis
  18. The fish should be moving up stream with the rain. Best times at Bronte have been late night early morning. Sorry to hijack your thread but to save posting a very similar thread, how much longer can you catch salmon from the pier??
  19. Nice fish Shawn. I should have headed out with you. I drove a the way to Erie to find out all the boat rentals were done for the season.
  20. Anyone have a source for free lake maps? anglersatlas.com is the only site I know of. It just takes a quick sighn up.
  21. I bought 35 lb gorilla tuff. Casts like rope.
  22. I saw some jellys about three weeks ago on Baptiste lake. Thought I drank too much the night befor.
  23. Every time I think of packing it in I see a huge fish jump and im hooked for a few more hours.
  24. Wow thats crazy. Luckey no one was hurt.
  25. Its always nice to have a selection but I prefer to do the shopping myself. Once you find a good bait reach for the back of the shelf and pull. Meps 3 long works in green, orange and yellow works the best on my lake and I clear the shelf every time I hit the store.
