  1. Nice job! Looks great
  2. I tried to use my phone for the $2 off coupon and was told I'd need a paper coupon. Too bad. Fun few hours with the family. My daughter had a blast, caught two fish from the pond to my amazement. I missed the muskie master seminar in favor of sleep. Anyone go? What did they cover?
  3. Cottagecountry.com is my new fav search engine for cottages
  4. I've done -40 camping and it was fine with good equipment. I was told to wake middle of the night and eat a chocolate bar to get the metabolism going? Not sure if it has any science backing but it worked for me?
  5. I bought a 06 Polaris Sportsman for "plowing" and I've already replaced the plastic cage in the diff $$$ the reason I went polaris is because they are heavier than most other brands wich is key for plowing. Also put some mud LTE tires on the are awesome for trails and plowing. If price was no object I would have gone with the foreman or the Suzuki brute force. Synthetic rope for the winch when plowing so you don't wear out the cable for the trails.
  6. Thick fish man! 8lb test and through the ice must have made some heart stopping moments. Congrats!!
  7. The problem is beyond food, instead of shrinking quantity to increase profit the quality in everything we buy is poorer and poorer.
  8. I'd pay $275 all day. Why is your buddy selling? I thought when the tranx first came out it was going to be a staple for Muskie fishing.
  9. I'd call in healthy to work to go fishing. Id say im not coming into work today and he'd ask if i was sick and id say no I feel great! The first time my boss had a hard time wrapping his head around it but I'd come in sick when needed and never had to give the "sick" voice over the phone. If your boss is a real hard ass, diarrhea is a great excuse that management never want to talk about. Life is to short to work on 25 degree, partly cloudy and light wind days.
  10. I'm looking to rent a over night hut in Feb for 3-4 guys. My first thought was Simcoe Perch but im easy on Location and Species. Any recomendations? All I have found so far is Luckys on Simcoe but he has a two day min on over night and only weekends. Im probably looking a Sunday night fish thanks
  11. Sorry, only my second year owning a ATV. The switch from 2x4 to 4x4 is a electric switch. I found a Polaris dealer in Burlington. Hope its a cheap fix
  12. My Polaris 500ho says its in 4x4 but it's only in 2x4. Any recommendations for a repair shop close to Milton? Any ideas what could be wrong or how much I'm in for? Thanks Steve

  14. Lmao! That's about right
  15. I have a 07 sienna with 140kms on it. It's been solid, towed my 16' bass boat with ease. Even beach launched with no problem. As for repairs the air shocks went on the trunk. Toyota wanted $300 but I got parts from princess auto for $40 and did an easy install my self. Had the shifter lock for no reason one day getting gas, looked in the manual, pushed a reset button and never had another problem again. All in all a good vehicle.
  16. Amazing fish!!! Too bad somebody on facebook latched on and called it a record only to get more likes and comments for thier page. Looking forward to getting the full story from MH
  17. Absolutely amazing work!!! Just wondering what CA is? Ever thought of doing a YouTube video of the process or would that be giving away trade secrets?
  18. Worst part for me was waking up every day and not knowing if it was 6 am or pm. Doesn't sound like much but it would really mess with my head. Good luck!
  19. Love that store!
  20. I felt the same way the first few seasons I watched. Subscribed to the magazine and was diss appointed. Allot of the writing to me came across as pure spam. Don't get me wrong I love seeing new products and lures and different techniques for them but hate when the articles turn into a sales pitch.
  21. Awesome!!
  22. Anyone read Muskies my way by Jim Saric? Is it 200 pages of selling product or worth the read for an experienced angler?
  23. Barracuda on a jerk bait is on the bucket list. Great report!
