I just finished booking a stag my self and I never found a lodge that had any interest of having a large group of guys for the weekend. I went the private cottage rental route and you can get 5-8 bedroom cottages between $1000-$2000 for the weekend early season. July is high season and you would have to rent for the week. You can find big cottages for cheaper Kingston way for $2000-$3000 for the week mind you its late in the season to book cottages for this summer so choice is slimmer. Boat houses are an option I looked at if you get stuck for ideas. Good luck
Just booked a cottage for the family for a week in seeleys bay, South Frontenac, ON Little cranberrie lake. Google search shows muskie in the Rideau Canal but no word on this section of the water way. I know Gananoque and the Thousand Islands arent that far away but was hoping someone who knows the area could point me to a lake close by. Pm if you'd prefeer
Thanks
Ha, Ha! That's awesome! Like I said it's for a stag, I already have a cottage booked on Redstone. I'll be bringing my bass boat to chase some skis, I just need enough toys so I dont have to guide for the weekend.
Thanks to all for the links
Im lookng for a place that rents ski boats/jet skis in or around Haliburton and only found a place in Muskoka that does that sort of thing. I was hoping someone might have a marina in mind that I could look up. I tried google with no luck.
Thanks
It's been a while since I did my reaserch but I was also looking for a unit to use in smaller lakes. Being in shallower water the wider angle the sonar the better. 120 degrees compared to the 90 degree units. I'm sure someone else can explain better
I was at the show this weekend and did my annual trip to the Motor Guide booth to see if they have came up with a lock for the wireless series and got the same answer as every year, NO. The rep did mention that there is going to be news in June about an add on to the wireless series to rival the Ipiolt. Anyone know any details about this?
You can buy a safety canister from Canadian tire that has all the requirements for $20 just find a good bucket for bailing water.
If your buying a used tinny, the further away from the city you look the better deal you will get. Have a mechanic do a compression test On the motor and make sure the boat floats.
Good luck
