  1. He wasn't soft, he just let things get to his head.
  2. I'd bet the kid would of been happy to sit in the cruiser, would give him more street cred and something to post on facebook. Depending on the Dads attitude, I probably would of let him handle it. Then again, maybe not, as the kid is a product of his environment. He needs someone to respect. Smalliefisher - If I remember right you asked about being a big brother a while ago. After reading your story I beleive you really could influence a youngsters life who is need.
  3. I will admit the last few games have been refreshing to watch. Brown reminds me of a 16 yr old getting his first shot in the OHL.
  4. Voted. I have seen first hand how important is organization is. Come on all, it only takes a couple minutes.
  5. Only spent a couple days trying, but found Lake trout in Sheild lakes tough to get a handle on.
  6. cheers, nice of you to make the generous offer to share info.
  7. Isn't GCD one as well? I recall seeing a picture of him and his truck once.
  8. ouch, nice one Lew!!! Just a note, how do you like your bananas? ripe ok?
  9. Opps, misread that. Never heard the term humminbuzzard before... I like it. I have had one "humminbuzzard that gave me issues, was replaced quickly. However, a bud of mine I fished a couple years with had the Garmins and never had an issue with them. I have had a few lowrances and replaced them all, sold a couple on OFC too, one to a guy who was/is quite happy with it if I remember right. I just know I was/am not. PS. Charles will you be my friend?
  10. Well said and I agree 100% Charles. Units for my new boat will either be birds or garmins. If it comes with Lowrance they will quickly be posted in the classifieds.
  11. Good call Lew! Glad you will have it for the BOQ GTG, I don't need to wear mine now, I can just hold on to you.
  12. Great job bud! Good call on JP's part. I learnt the hard way too, always have gravol on the boat when your the boater on big water.
  13. I am sure the buck regrets throwing his doe to the wind.
  14. I have heard from a few guys about the calibre of anglers from your neck of the woods Roy and Darren, should be fun to follow the T.
  15. I am talking about the St Francis and 30lbs Canadian record he won the event with there last year. There is some awesome big water great lake anglers signed up. Barry Graves and Jason Gough are there as well, consistant big water fall smallie guys. I plan to fish it next year. Maybe he'll move it alittle more west.. Kingston would be perfect.
  16. Thanks John! Don't need a pickup as my lifestyle has changed (KIDS)... but my want for a V8 has not!
  17. I bet they saw your shirt. We aren't to far from each other bud.
  18. I have quite a few buddies fishing it as well. Hope the winds stay down for them this weekend. From what I have heard it's a tough bite. But someone will gett'em. I am going to go with the Izumi's, Deforges, or Strub. But I hope Sims can pull it off with all the pressure on them to repeat. In the end the fish have the last word anyways.
  19. Ok, I am in. Thanks Lew. Maybe this year we can have a few more of the original BOQ MTGers show up! Actually I'd like the see JP, Diplip, Lipdip, dipnsip, other whatever show up too. I'll BBQ though.
  20. I could possibly swing the 20th weekend if someone has room for a guide who is currently boatless but I could find the right ride by then.
  21. Thanks for taking the time to post Raf. I'll have a looksee!
  22. Thanks Raf, how about the Grand 1999-2004, 2005-2010 generations? Bulletproof still?
  23. Sorry to Hijack, but does this stand true for 2004 -2010 Cherokees? I am considering one for my next ride. I had an '87 and literally beat the snot out of it, my bro drove it til 2007 when he crashed it.
