Jeez, that sucks Gerritt (no pun intended). I hope you don't contract Lyme disease as I hear it is quite nasty. I guess you'll have to take extra precautions with your family and pets now, especially fiddle head picking. Pants inside socks etc. or just stay away from the area you were in aswell, although that really is a shame

Wow, thanks John. I actually take my camera with me when I walk Ralphie and just keep an eye out for wildlife or cool shots. Then I take it in the car on the way to and from work and stop by areas where I have seen hawks and wait to see if I see any. This time I heard the killdeer making a racket (didn't know what bird it was until i followed the noise) and then when i found them I just started snapping shots

Was on a bird/photography site and someone found this today on shore. Apparently it is a Grebe that's eyes were bigger than it's stomach.

Thanks guys The bird is a Cedar Waxwing. This is only the second time I've ever seen any. Maybe there are more of them this year or something or I'm just lookin in the right places
