  1. One afternoon, one person, one bait. Maybe when there is 2 of us in the boat we can patern them a little better. He kept a few eaters (no photos of them) for him and my uncle who can't get out to fish too much now.
  2. My brother was at our uncle's place this Wednesday. Water is bang on normal (looks high because its been so low for a few years). My brother fished one day and did real well. Nobody else did much. I leave a week this Monday.
  3. Maybe Roy can tell us a story about that day?
  4. Good thing it's not the one in Windsor that guy tried to steal. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-buzz/diamond-switcher-possibly-swallows-jewel-giving-windsor-police-232946296.html
  5. Well my first brookies were nothing like that. As a matter of fact I have caught very few brookies like that ever. Nice fish.
  6. Haven't needed a live worm in years. It is easy enough to pick your own if you don't like the price. For others $5 for a day's bait is not a big deal.
  7. I just read an article about the benefits of Canada with a population of a 100 million instead of the 34-35 million we currently have. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/time-to-lead/what-would-a-canada-of-100-million-feel-like-more-comfortable-better-served-better-defended/article2436609/
  8. Here, you just crashed a helicopter and likely filled your drawers, we've got a folding lawn chair with webbing from the 1970's for you to sit on. Pilot: "No thanks, I'm safer in the cockpit of the wrecked 'copter."
  9. Dragonfly Damselfly caddisfly stonefly
  10. You're not necessarily wrong, but as the water temperature goes up other methods often become more effective. Much of that effectiveness is due to the relative speed of the presentations and the activity level of the fish.
  11. No rain, fire burns on. http://www.thedailypress.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3569728 Photo of smoke in Timmins http://www.thedailypress.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3569861 North Bay will make room if people need to be evacuated from Kirkland Lake http://www.nugget.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3569827
  12. The men folk just stay in the basement a pretend the football game is real interesting.
  13. I'm less likely to dropshot as the water temp. goes up.
  14. I'll see your snapping turtles and raise you two sisters in-law and an aunt full of wine and turkey diner.
  15. I'd rather the Bills stay in Buffalo, and I live in Barrie. It is an extra hour and a half to 2 hours in the car but the experience is completely different. 2 tickets for less then a $100 and it's a real football stadium. I'm too old to really party, but it sure is nice to just park you car on someone's lawn and crack an ice cold beer from your trunk. And a little tip: use ice, water and salt to get you duty free beer ice cold super fast. I haven't been to the dome for the Bills, but I do go for the Argos, and never will.
  16. I think a strong argument could be made that TO is a Leafs town.
  17. The puck hit the glass, the audio was quite clear.
  18. If the outfit doesn't balance it doesn't matter how good the reel was/is. A 2500 stradic on a 5 foot ultralite would suck. For panfish float fishing the reel isn't as critical anyway.
  19. ... Or used them? http://www.grimeboss.com/
  20. That's a sweet looking package.
  21. I'm not telling cause I do not get along well with others. Ps I'd be looking north west of NB anyway.
