  1. Would a high pressure washer help if used with some of the cleaners mentioned?
  2. Fireworks and thunder never bothered Murphy (black Lab). I was told if you don't make a big deal of it the dog might too.
  3. I enjoy the show and really enjoy fishing for musky myself, but compared to just about every fish he has gone after muskys are pussy cats.
  4. Gee if you're going to put it on a tee...
  5. They may not be sea lamprey and removing native lamprey species will likely land you in hotwater.
  6. Lampreys are not eels. I can't see anything clearly from the video, but I don't see how they couldn't be anything but lamprey. Sea Lamprey get all the press, but there are a few native species that are not any concern to game fish populations.
  7. St Croix, shimano and Bass pro shops all have crankbait rods in that price range. Shimano has 3 I believe.

  10. Not a real old colour.
  11. Maybe next time there will be 50mph winds and you won't have deal with those pesky skitters.
  12. If the weather was going to be crapy this weekend it would be fun to send that guy a half dozen emails.
  13. Touching video and story. http://ca.music.yahoo.com/blogs/upbeat/autistic-blind-boy-heart-warming-moment-street-musician-161231963.html "Guitar guy's" website: http://tylergregorymusic.com/fr_journal.cfm
  14. Rye and ginger for me. Just signed the papers for a brand new highlander. Should have it in a couple of weeks. Then the boat shopping really begins.
  15. How heavy could those lunches possibly be? Interested in where this goes as well.
  16. Right, it is a ratio not a measurement.
  17. Just what no one wants on a Friday on the first long weekend of the fishing season. http://www.thebarrieexaminer.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3566044 Highway 400 closed in both directions Dump truck goes through guardrail near Highway 89 Updated 1:45 Traffic on Highway 400 is moving slow after a dump truck went through a centre guardrail just south of Highway 89 shortly before 1 p.m., Friday. According to Ontario Provincial Police, officers have opened two northbound lanes while traffic in southbound lanes remain at a standstill. The truck has been removed from the southbound lanes, but officers are still on scene attempting to clean up a minor diesel spill and make repairs to the the guardrail. Reports indicate the truck was heading north when it went through the guardrail and into southbound lanes before stopping sideways. Police continue to investigate the collision. The Highway 400 southbound ramp at Highway 89 has been closed and officers are on scene. No injuries have been reported at this time.
  18. The tires are: P245/60R17 P225/60R17 To me that means the diameter is the same. The profile is the same. The only difference is the 20mm in tire width. Do I have this wrong? The tires and rims have only been used for one winter and I would be farther ahead by keeping them, rather then selling them and buying another set in the fall. I know winter tires can be slightly narrower, I just was wondering if 20mm on a 245mm tire was too much or not.
  19. Getting a new suv. The old one has winter tires size 17/225/60. The new one is 17/245/60. Is that 20mm narrower for winter tires within the safe zone?
  20. First thing I thought of as well. It does update you audibly and the idea is you enter your route before you start. Or use a navigator in the passenger seat. 640 does a good job but it is T.O. centric.
  21. Tonights ctv news mention that they've just launched a cottage traffic app. Only on andriod right now. Blackberry soon, and iphone by the end of the month. Free. User added info enhances the app so the more using it the better. http://www.ctvbarrie.ca/new-cottage-traffic-app/
  22. From the bottom, that way you can reel naturally and wind the line on. There should be a small "washer" like thing on the spindle that you pop off and then flip a bushing and you are ready to go. When you are a lefthand person buying a fly reel from a right handed person you have to do this... and then pull off all of the line and backing and then rewind it.
  23. I used Rapala's gliding bait during my fly-in last September. The pike and walleye loved it. For a bait that size it trolled fairly easy hand held. Haven't used them for musky's.
  24. Heard this a while back and thought with the passing of Carrol Shelby I'd post it here.
  25. The angle of the sun, relative to the buildings, changes every day.
