  1. Tell me about it, my lips are sore. Sounds like you had a great trip except for the end.
  2. I know if I had redheaded triplets I'd have separated them too. I can think of a few separated at births but they might start another "fishing fight".
  3. 304 trips a year. You are my king. I'll assume 3-4 trips. No reason you have to leave Alumacraft. They have some great tiller layouts. It really comes down to what features you want on your boat and which brand that matches you and your fishing the best. Good luck and show us the photos.
  4. In honour of Canada Day and the return of the reigning Grey Cup Champions taking on the tabbies…. ARRRRRRRRRGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!! Have a great weekend everybody, be safe. All Canucks and our friends to the south.
  5. I don't know about that. I think there might be a plumber in Virginia that wakes up with bear nightmares every now and then.
  6. How do we know what you are doing on the other side of the camera?
  7. The thunder storms and heavy rains are a nice touch.
  8. Great stuff TJ and Monique. I would say I don't recognize those fishing show guys without their logos but that would't be true… or fair, but it might be a little bit funny.
  9. You should be able to buy a second one but it's not necessary. That outfit it fine for what you discribed. The only issue would be if the bass are in cover. One thing you might be concerned about is that this might be the start of a serious tackle accumulation addiction that many of us are afflicted with.
  10. If that reel came with 2 spools I'd have one of each. A braid, or superline, on one and the mono on the other. There is a bit of a learning curve with the non-mono type lines but it in the end it is worth it imo. And yes a floro or mono lead would be used. The lead length, type and pound test can be adjusted to suit a particular situation and presentation.
  11. I do some of my best sleeping between 5 and 7. Nice fish.
  12. Man, I remember when our house was being built. We'd be over checking on it all the time. At times it would seem to drag and then others it was going so fast and we didn't think we would be ready when the house was. Exciting.
  13. Hard to beat Europe for great little towns and buildings.
  14. As a fellow somewhat heavy eyebrowed person I too am frequently accused of being too serious in photos. I usually ask them why they are so serious about me looking serious.
  15. Top to bottom the league is more evenly balanced (some would argue that's not a good thing). Also for a long time 12 of 18 teams (and then 16 of 21 made the playoffs. And for part of that era the number 1 team played the 12th (and the 16th) placed team. It wasn't until the mid '80's that there were 4 rounds of best of 7 series. Combine those factors with free agency and now a cap and it is very hard to stock pile talent and win multiple cups.
  16. In today's cap world it's not always about having the best.
  17. And the Leafs keep $500 000 in cap money that helps the Kings cap problems.
  18. It's not so much that, as the fact that for large parts of the play-offs he was completely missing in action.
  19. When she's old enough maybe you could find her a good camera operator for her own fishin' show.
  20. The Conn Smythe vote is a complete joke… again.
  21. … And sure take the big guy that can carry his weight on the trail, knows how to handle a rod and can't eat fish. More fish for you.
