This was me Christmas morning 2015 and it looks like maybe a repeat this year too.

Good to hear you got into a couple Roger.

Came cross this picture tucked away in a box this morning that I'd forgotten about. This was a 1979 Buick Riviera that I used to own and it was absolutely one of the best cars I've ever had. Pretty well every option available back in the day and driving this car was like driving your living room couch it was so darned comfortable. Looks black but was actually a really nice shade of blue. Wife and I were in the house one evening and heard a loud crash. Went out front and realized it was our car sitting in our driveway that had been clobbered by some moron not looking where he was going and left the road and hit the car and totaled it. Pi$$ed me right off as I loved that car and hadn't had it very long. Insurance covered everything but that didn't really make me feel much better. Mine looked exactly like the one in the 1st picture and the other is the aftermath of the crash. Anyone else lose a car this way ?

Those big critters can be darned scary when they get upset Barry, musta been pretty harrowing for you guys for that few seconds. I saw a Youtube video just this morning about tourists in Yellowstone trying to get up close and personal with bison to take selfies with them like they were baby goats on a farm. One guy got mangled pretty bad and a few others came close. Like the old saying goes, ya can't fix stupid.

50 something years ago my dad and his buds were hunting up near James Bay. Dad was walking down a trail when a big ole bull came out from behind a clump of bushes and charged him. He was able to get a shot off and killed the critter but he said it was FAR too close for comfort. He kept the huge rack and had it in his home for years.

Nice pictures Barry, specially the moose. I've seen plenty of them over the years but I've never seen one with antlers.

Love the story Barry, my daughters new pup watched TV alot too.

Sorry to hear the news Barry, losing a loving & faithful dog is a terrible thing to go through.

You always seem to get into nice fish Bill no matter what species your chasing.

If you can't find what your looking for Roger, Aikmens can probably help you. I haven't been out there in years but the place used to be good at fixing trolling motors.

Yeah I remember you being there Roger and your right, we never caught many but it sure was some fun times and a great way to end the year.

A group of us would meet on the Niagara River at Fort Erie every December on the last Saturday of the musky season, fish all day then head to a restaurant and the end of the day for super. Always a fun way to close out the season.

Yeah, I had the feeling she was as interested in me as I was of her. After I took the 1st picture I continued on my walk and she followed me through those trees behind her. After 200' she came out and walked to about 50' from me and I got the 2nd picture. Also liked all your trail cam pictures Barry, some great pictures there.

Not trail cam pics but a moose I encountered while walking along a dirt road on the West Arm of Nipissing a couple years back.

Reading your review makes my thoughts totally wrong Bill, good to hear you like the new style.

My 1st thought was that grip may force you to always keep your hand and wrist in the same position which could make it even more uncomfortable. I know anytime I was casting large baits for an extended period of time I liked to be able to change my hand positioning. Also looks to me like it may hinder your casting. Just my opinion though as I've never tried that type of grip before.

Folks always said I looked miserable whenever I caught a nice fish Bill but I think you've got me beat hahaha

And I'm sitting here with 3 antlers on my fireplace hearth that I could get a small fortune for LOL
