Luis...I know where you're coming from on this thread. Give it up please. This one's been stirred enough. I have to leave for a few hours. I'll check this thread out when I get back. Keep it civil, PLEASE!
I don't think you should be dismissing the members of our FISHING COMMUNITY as being ignorant because they have chosen not to answer your post. This thread was started to mark a great event that happened for our neighbours to the south. There are lots of boards where you can go to discuss this stuff with people who won't ignore you anyhow.
To the people who were genuinely interested in discussing the inauguration, I apologize for locking this thread.
Those videos always remind me of those famous last words... " Hey y'all, come watch me do this!"
Hiya Ric, nice to see you on board. Hope NY is treating you well.
PETE!!! Now THERE's a personal best you'll never be able to beat! Congrats to you both! I have a question for you though. Does the Gillesp dude have to be with you ALL the time? That's a keeper clip for sure. Thanks so much for posting that, Jen. Gunna be smiling here all afternoon now.
Wow! They ARE good Bernie. I don't know of anyone who doesn't love those pictures. I remember in those days, taking a picture or having one taken of you was almost an event. It was expensive and everything had to be just right. In most cases you had a roll of film with 12 exposures so you tried to make every one of them count. I find that nowadays with the digital technology, you get great pics but lots of folks just point and click at anything at all.
Thanks for sharing.....great pictures and surely treasures for you.
I just watched an hour of the videos and different perspectives and I'm still teared up from gratitude to the pilots, the crew and all of the rescue people involved. The whole thing was just surreal. Nevermind the forced landing, just stepping off the plane in those temperatures could kill you. Lots to be thankful for tonight for sure.
Unbelievable....
