I've got both, but I sooner fish from the smaller tiller. My smaller one is a 16' Princecraft Holiday with a 50 Honda tiller. Still fishing, you can sit, trolling your at your rod, turn on a dime, back trolling a breeze, fish smaller lakes, lighter trailering, easier on gas, more floor space. The only thing I find is on big water, big boat with a wind shield blocks the bad weather. If I had to do it all over I would buy Spiel's boat. NICE 17' Lund Tiller I've fished in it, Beauty machine. One day I'm going to steal it if Brook don't bite me.

I've been doing this for a couple years, did about a dozen the other day, 20 Min's. They fill about 2/3 full. Never had one fill right up. But be careful. I jumped off the bridge but not telling you to. Your on your own. If you know what I mean

Thanks for sharing Wayne, Man those planes come close. The one picture looks like it kick up the sand and water on the beach. Nice pictures. Now if I could only talk the wife into going. -
Thanks for sharing Terry, I always wanted to see those Whities down there. Be nice seeing them feeding. My camera only has 50' of cable, only good for Perch. Love those Whities. Can't wait for your next video

Buddy and myself got out yesterday to do some Perchin and Whitie fishing, Started out at Lefroy, moved about a dozen times. Buddy picked up about 30 keeper Perch to take home. I tried with the jig and only talked up a half dozen. Minnows did the trick. Left there around noon, headed to Innisfil for Whities. Right off the bat buddy had one on, lost it about 20 feet up. Marked lots for a while but no takers. We moved to a few other holes and started to mark fish, I dropped my jig down and WHAM what a hog, I think it's my biggest Whitie ever. 27" got to go 7 to 8 LBS. We gaffed it up pretty bad, trying to get it up the small hole, we kept missing. Man did that fish fight, but we won out.

Chris, I don't care what any one says, Mighty fine work. That fly is just a taste of the work I've seen you do with flies and rods. Should change the name from Stone Fly to Alive Fly. I wouldn't want to fish with it, case I got bit off. You wouldn't want to see a grown man cry. Plus, to even think getting bit off by a Sheephead. Buddy, we've got to do some Whities next week , if your up to it.

Let your buddy read this thread . His marriage is finished by the sounds of things. And he just got married. Going to be a short one. Your buddy will be back.

Do you think a bike will help you catch more fish. I have a tricycle from one of the grand kids Walter, still has the bell, streamers, training wheels

Had the same problem years ago with my Jiffy 30, I did the same thing as Wayne (Irishfield) said, Problem fixed. Some times that screw vibrates out or may have got bumped.

Does anyone know if there running the one day ice fishing derby on Cooks Bay Keswick? It was sponsored by Yamaha. Thanks

Thanks guys I would have thought those type of sealed batteries would be better than a regular battery. The on board battery lasts about 4 hours left on, I do carry a larger spare that lasts about 6 hours. I guess when I get back from ice-fishing late at night, I'll have to bring it in and charge it instead of leaving it till the next morning.

You better book your spot early, as soon as the park opens in the spring. The park fills fast.

The year-round population is about 450 people, but the population increases to about 5,000 in summer months when cottagers and campers visit. Long Point is popular destination for boating, swimming, fishing, waterfowl-hunting and canoing, and more than 100,000 visitors each year. A large portion of Long Point is owned by The Long Point Company, a private organization that does not allow the public onto its property. Because of this, the bulk of homes, cottages and business are within the first few kilometers of the causeway that carries the road between Long Point and the mainland. Believe me they patrol that area. Don't get caught in there. They own the land and water. Some deal that was make back in the 1800's. Interesting read http://www.kwic.com/~pagodavista/lpco.html

Anyone owning a Aqua-View, a little advice. The on-board battery does not like the cold, plus the battery must be charge back up as soon as possible. DO NOT leave it uncharged out in the cold, as I"m on my 3rd. battery. I bought a replacement at a battery place in Hamilton. They gave me some info on maintaining those type of battery's. I was surprised when they said they don't like the cold and the battery won't last. I only use mine for ice fishing. From now on, my Aqua-View will be kept out of the cold if all possible. The new battery was $21.00 plus tax.

Same to you Harry, may the river be your pot of gold. The wife and I had a quiet night last night, had a couple drinks and watched the new years celebrations on the tube. Dick Clark still making a showing .

Toughest truck on the road. I have the same truck Lew, but wait till you price the tires for that thing . Congrats.

I fish & hunt because of my dad, I blame him. Every day I fish & hunt, I think of him. Having a Great father brings back memories of all the time we spent together in the bush or boat. Only to have him back to do it all over. "Good thread uglyfish"

Way to go Jeff, Congrats. I should be up this week.

Hi Steve, There's a motel just off the 400 on 89 across from McDonald's. I don't know their rates. I think Love To Fish Simcoe bunks people up.

I'm in for it, some time in Feb, except the 6th. I'm doing a bus trip on Simcoe.
