  1. Brian, you had to apply before June 30 for the antlerless deer draw, there they indicated if you were going to hunt the first or second hunt.
  2. I got a reply back from them and this is the form to fill out and instructions. Sent mine out this morning Click below http://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/wwwdocs/Forms/84-0172E_1308-08_E.pdf
  3. I had a Fold-a-Cover on my FX4 and got rid of it because after a few years it leaked at the fold hinges. Now I have a cap, keeps things dry and can carry more etc.
  4. I like that idea Mines 11 years old. I wonder if you need to change the #'s on your boat or just update? Wonder how many new?
  5. If you have owned your boat more than 10 Years Click Below http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/debs-obs-paperwork-paperwork_boat_licence-3211.htm#g5
  6. Thanks for the replys guys. Like you guys said, having great friends makes the trip. Funny when we all got back to our room we look at each other and laugh, are we stupid or what. And Chris, I just booked my appointment.
  7. 7 of us went to Picton, we stay at the Picton Harbor Inn suite. I think we need a head doctor with the weather we had. First day we launched at Bath and fished by the island, I caught a Brown Trout, which was a surprise. no Walleye caught that day. It rained the whole time we were out. Tues day was a bust with 90 K winds but we still tried. we launched in Picton and went out for a hour but the wind was so bad you couldn't troll, it blow us all over. Wednesday we launched at the Ferry, tried fishing the bay, the wind came up plus we had white-outs with the snow blowing. Trolled towards the cement plant and the anchored barge, nada. White caps came up so we made are way back to Glenora, which we trolled down the south side of adulphus towards Kieth's. My other buddy in his boat caught 1 5Lb. Walleye. That was it for our 7 man 3 day Quinte trip. Water temp was 37 to 38.
  8. A slightly bent blade will do that, Out of balance will chew the rubber insert. Soon as you slowed down the back presser threw the prop.
  9. Free, the last fish I caught Cliff was about $50.00 Lb. at the end of the day.
  10. I'm going into business selling those lures.
  11. Way to go Mike, thanks for the report. I'm heading down Monday for 4 days. By the looks of the weather and wind it's going to be a challenging trip. Are any fish in the triangle or are they down the reach, Kieth's, Lighthouse, Bat-cave or farther? You can tell right away if it's a Sheephead or Walleye,
  12. Makes sense to me when were taking pension cuts. And you believe them when the licence fees were supposed to go towards our fisheries in the beginning. I have a lure that guaranties to catch fish
  13. I stressed that when I had mine done at Krown.
  14. I have to agree with you, now I hear guys fishing with lead core and dipsys for Walleye, can you imagine . I'd have a better thrill cranking my boat on the trailer. Can't think of eating any Walleye from there. There just picture fish, and some are not.
  15. I wonder how many people have the tools with them to change your trailer tires. Jack, wrench, etc. Salt for the ramp at Quinte with this cold weather, and watch those trailer lights backing into the ice Good thread Lew
  16. Shows how great that fishing is. Hope to have a report next week, going for 4 days of dragging in dead fighting Walleye I hope I catch a good fighting fish (Sheephead) Still can't talk Spiel into going, come on buddy, you may catch a record Drum
  17. Stick to your guns Phil. Don't let them dictate. We must stick together. Good for you. I've never heard about an unauthorized Canadian Flag
  18. You hit the nail on the head, just have to ask our selves when this crap started. Like I have posted before the end is coming and it's just started.
  19. Been that way in the Hamilton Harbor, they tested Pike and found both sex organs. Won't start to improve until 2020 when the New Hamilton sewage plant comes on line.
  20. It's this weekend starting 12 noon 17th. to 19th 12 noon. Got to get your tickets day before the derby at Mikes in Caledonia Boundary below Caledonia dam to above Dunville dam.
  21. Anyone here fishing the Caledonia Walleye derby this coming weekend besides myself and a few buds?
  22. Boats not out of the water and ice long enough to worry, I use the cheapest stuff for as long as my other toys are not in use.
  23. Never had a problem with rez gas Now they got us thinking $1.10 is cheap, should be around 60 cents and thats still high at a $2.80 gallon. This metric stuff has screwed are heads up. Notice food now, they are hoping we don't see the, we think Lb. of bacon etc. is 375 grams.
  24. Thanks for posting Terry, Were heading down for 3 days starting the 27th. I was sitting Jim Bowlby from the fisheries at Glenora the other day and told me that the Walleye fishing this year will be great from all their fish research and studies. I Was talking to Italo at a meeting and he has had great reports of great catches in Long Reach. So with that, we should put a few in the boat with 3 trips planned.
