Paul, I don't know if you can still get them but 2 years ago I purchased a $5 pair from Walmart in the fishing section...they are Berkeley Sunglasses...my wife like them so much I had to get her a pair...then my sister in-law also like them so now she has a pair and then I went and bought 2 more pairs for the car and truck...they are polarized and should do the trick for you on the water....lightest, clearest sunglasses I ever had and so far none of them ever scratched....next time I get to Walmart I might pick up another pair for future use.

Fish Farmer, My Lowrance LMS 520C Combo sits right next to my Raytheon VHF radio on my dash and then both antennas are within 6" of each other without any noise problem. I know how frustrating this can be.....have you tried to isolate the problem to see if it's the GPS or FF by unplugging the transducer cable from the back of the unit or turn off the GPS feature or if need be unplugging it's antenna. Good Luck, Bob

I installed one of these on a buddy's boat about 7-8 years ago.....great unit and a LARGE screen....at the time he got it for about $1500 with his outdoor right discount right from Lowrance.....BUT YOU WILL NEVER GET ANY PARTS OR SERVICE for this unit as it's deemed a dinosaur in Lowrance's eyes. Maybe an approach to eliminate the gill nets like we did in NYS would work.... Back in the 80's NYS bought out all the gill netters including their equipment by issuing a Lake Erie Stamp for 3 years...so if you wanted to fish Lake Erie you needed this special stamp and the proceeds went directly to the commercial fishermen....but after only 2 years enough money was generated to accomplish the complete buy out and the stamp requirement was dropped for the third year of the program. Since then PA and Ohio did similar things to do away with gill netting on Lake Erie and the walleye and perch populations have rebound to great populations. Something to think about and discuss with the natives in that area.

Caught 2 muskies while houseboating but I was casting a spinnerbait while we were anchored for the night just before dark on Stoney Lake. We came out of Pigeon Lake as well both times we rented houseboats......YEARS ago from Three Buoys Houseboats (out of business)...those boats were FANTASTIC...and once from Egan Houseboats....theirs were just OK.... We traveled as far as Balsam Lake and Stoney each time but I didn't really fish Sturgeon Lake until this year while staying with Cliff....no muskies but we caught our share of walleye, perch, bluegills with some crappie and bass. BTW the above picture looks like a boat from Happy Days Houseboating...this will be our next company we rent from. Bob

As I mentioned, Lake Erie has had a HUGE population of water fleas since the mid 80's OR even before that....but gill netting was outlawed and bought out in all the states that border the lake....since then the populations of walleye and perch have exploded. NUFF SAID.

Lake Erie is FULL of these water fleas....and walleye and perch populations are BOOMING.......go figure.
