What Trilene is the best for bass fishing?
Billy Bob replied to Bass Assassin's topic in General Discussion
Found out years ago Cabela's ProLine mono is Stren....it cost less then half as much for 4 times as much line....been using it for years. -
That depends on your fishing area....in deep water where they are suspending, above them....but right now in areas east of Point Abino MANY are being caught on the bottom drifting or trolling worm harnesses. The bite is on so get going....I'll be out there tomorrow.... Edited to add: http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/other/outdoors/article483912.ece

Hello and WELCOME ABOARD.... -
Roy, why are you advising against pressure treated lumber ? ....replaced my non-pressure treated bunks years ago because they rotted in about 7 or 8 years....now the pressure treated lumber has been on their for almost 20 years with excellent results. But I did replace the carpeting on the bunks (same lumber) in 2008.

The wife and I are SERIOUSLY considering a dog once my son's wedding is over with.....but it has to be a chocolate lab named TUNDRA....Cliff already said to bring him/her up next year to play with their new loved beagle.... When I was in high school my buddy John and I would go duck hunting every Saturday we didn't have a football game to play (we played a lot of Friday night games)....I would pick him up in my sister's car and CAREFULLY and LIGHTLY knock on his door at 4am or even sooner....well John had 4 beagles and every time they would start HOWLING at 4am and wake up not only everyone in his house but several neighbors as well...GREAT MEMORIES...

26 years of using premium 91 octane in my 1985 Johnson VRO 50 hp.....and no problems....but wait....several here have told me that Johnson's VRO system is crap and my outboard would seize up without manual mixing my oil.... ....oh well...it just keep purring like new.

It would make better sense if you would contact your political Representative to address these concerns as they are valid and I agree with you guys....our Coast Guard Auxiliary makes the inspections and issues the stickers as per aplumma....at one time I had so many on top of each other that it stuck out about 3/8" from the windshield...

I have never been stopped in Ontario except by biologist for scale samples of my fish on the French River. But here in NYS on Chautauqua Lake I have been checked many times by the Sheriff boat there...they always seem to pick on the fishermen as we are easy targets (anchored, drifting or slow trolling) but NEVER have I seen a jet ski pulled over or checked and they are the menace of ALL waterways.

Looks like new....even better then new with the BLING...

The advantage of having a transducer on the TM is that it's reading the drop offs as you approach them when under power of the TM.... I have 2 Lowrance LMS 520C units that are networked together and also Ethernet together to share transducers. Don't know if Humminbird has that capability. The Ethernet cord gives the units transducer sharing while the network gives both units the ability to share waypoints and I can control each unit from just one unit....if I change anything or input anything while fishing up front at the TM it also does it to the console unit. OUCH.....sorry to hear you christened the prop....but that prop CAN be repaired....if you insist on buying a new one, you should still get that one repaired as a spare.. Did even worse a few years ago going 3/4 throttle (about 24 mph) on the West Arm of the Nip....motor flew up and out of the water and I was afraid to even look....I really thought I tore off the lower unit....but the prop was beyond repair and a a hunk of the skeg is gone....first time I ever hit bottom in over 20 years.....still bothers me. But at least you got some nice size perch. Bob
