  1. I have experienced that with a few as well. Sometimes you can tweek them. Others I have work good. More times than not I'm casting them to the shore lines, trolling when I'm eating or need a break. Looking at the musky on your link, there would only be one or two baits from the dollar store I would use, and probably not for long. Different arsenal for those nice looking gals.
  2. Chef, I buy the food coloring at the dollar store. I'll tie 10-15 egg sacks, put them in a small container, put a few drops of color and your all set. I've caught many good size pike 30'' on dollar store stick baits. Never had one fail. You can save some good bucks on some items.
  3. Interesting read from the US state department. The following was written in the mid 1970s. Use of environmental modification techniques for hostile purpose does not play a major role in military planning at the present time. Such techniques might be developed in the future..... continue reading if interested at link below. Highlite it and use google. http://www.state.gov/t/isn/4783.htm Can we believe all the countries who signed this United Nations agreement, will not play with the weather ? More food for thought.
  4. Cram I didn't say the governments were making this up. I stated in my second post the climate is changing. I don't believe the ice melts are due to CO2. The planet is in constant change. We have had five ice ages. After that comes the warming. It's a constant cycle of change. To think a simple gas is going to change the entire planet...to me is the biggest joke put to mankind. Really a simple gas is causing all this....blah
  5. Cram just a guess, but if oil and such have been found up there, as I already answered earlier, major countries want a piece of it. China growing as quickly as they are need any and all resources they can to keep their economy going. No pretending, these countries are always looking, whether on land, ice or water. Hope I answered your questions. Not trying to change your mind. Some of my points and Irishfield's are pretty good fodder for thought. Do with it what you will. Always like looking outside the box. I have tinfoil on all my windows as well, just makes it hard to drive sometimes
  6. Cram, carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone are all green house gases. Studying for many years what Irishfield posted, there very well could be more concentration, along with many other chemicals and elements we are not being told about. The last few years have definitely been different. Record number of earthquakes world wide since 2011. Record number of dangerous active volcanoes in 2010 and 2013. Am I going to believe something in the air is causing this...not a chance. As far as oil and minerals in the arctic. Well he who controls the riches controls the world. The information Irishfield has ( well done Irish ) is only the tip of the iceberg on what's going on, on this planet. I believe it behooves one to look beyond what we are being spoon fed.
  7. Cram have you taken the quiz ? http://www.naturalnews.com/032415_sheeple_quiz.html
  8. Most scientific research is funded by governments. We all have read over the years how honorable and impeccable our politicians are.
  9. I believe China would never do it as well. To make my comment clear, I don't believe in the report. Yes Global warming has now been change to climate change, the climate is changing. There are lots of studies being disregarded as to the cause of climate change. I don't put much faith in models that have been put together by a couple of scientists, and then sold as the only truth. I like to look at all possibilities, not just blindly drink the kool-aid. I see this report as a means to get a carbon tax broadly applied.
  10. Right near the end of the article it states ''we have lots of tools for dealing effectively with it. The problem, as ever, is who foots the bill ?'' Carbon tax coming our way. That part of the article I can believe.
  11. Odds are in leafs favor to break the streak. As well as the fact Detroit are not playing that well. Same with Wash and Columbus, they don't seem to want the final spot. Leafs are still in it.
  12. Maybe the leafs should decline penalities lol
  13. Great we got another win. But leafs can't continue to give up so many shots.
  14. Yep works for me as well. It's not like the powers that be would hide anything from us.
  15. I could accept a loss in a close game but to give the game to Boston....what a crushing blow to the fans.
  16. Habs got a reality check tonight. Good game by the Sens.
  17. When it was stated Tayzak 15 seemed to be lacking in common sense and the kid should stay in school, I didn't realize that was good old fashion joking or ribbing or banter. Thanks for clearing that up. Take comments on this forum seriously, hardly. And of course I expected a response to my post. Some are very predictable.
  18. What happened in Boston was tragic, no doubt. With the suspect in custody hopefully the truth is revealed without bias. What I find deplorable is the amount of ridicule shown here to people who have questions, may look outside the box, or basically just have an opinion that differs from the 'group mind set'. Bullying has been in the news quite a bit, citing occurrences at schools, clubs, the work place, facebook and other social media sources. What I understand is one of the common denominators of the victims of bullying is that they don't fit into what is considered the norm. They are ridiculed for being different. They are ridiculed for not fitting into what is considered normal, as well as other reasons. The goal of social bullying is to belittle another individual. In my opinion, the ridiculing going on here is bullying. I find it distasteful, deplorable, and childish.
  19. Global warming was changed to climate change because the facts did not hold true to the models that gore tried to hood wink us with. Reading the United Nations Weather modifcation treaty of 1977 proved that various Nations had the technology back then to change weather. Now if that was written 35 years ago and signed by many countries, could you imagine what technology has been developed since then. And of course governments and military have an impecable record of honesty over the years....I will never drink the kool-aid.
  20. Once the police milk this guy for all his info, he should rot in isolation for the rest of his days. The unfortunate effect of this event, with the massive house to house search, has now demonstrated to the rest of America how they now have become a police state. Any future event no matter how small with allow police to enter a home without a search warrant.
  21. It's good to see the leafs will make the playoffs though they may drop in the ranks. However the leafs can't continue to allow the opposition so many shots per game. And it's silly reading on some sports sites, the blame going on the goalies. It's the lack of defense and defensive help by the fowards. The defense has been spotty all year, Of course turnovers don't help. Clearly the leafs have no leader. Need a new captian, which of course has been said by many. Islanders have proven to be a contender, which they showed again tonight. Good thing there are not 82 games this season.
  22. Unbelievable requirements just to write a letter. Canadians think they live in a democracy....that's just an illusion. Just add this to all the rules and laws and permits, licences and user fees and taxes and hidden taxes and so on. If you don't play the game the government dictates you can't survive. Do ya really think we are free.
  23. 3 games below .500 not impressed. May be the new guys need some time to settle in, If that's not the problem, then there's a problem.
  24. Caught two bowfin In Caledonia from shore by the dam, about two pounds. Also caught two bowfins in the Ausable river that goes through the Pinery near London. Those ones were eight and nine pounds and fought like pikes. All four were caught with dead minnows under a float. I was targeting pike
  25. Sad state of affairs for sure. If we lived in a 'true' democracy then things could be change for the better.
