I picked up the CTEK charger today. I just called around and asked if they would still honor last weeks sale and was told yes. So you can still get it for 40% off if you do the same. Great charger from the reviews I read on the net. Plus CT is giving a 5 year exchange warranty. Can't beat that!!!

Success in training a dog is repetition for sure. But it also has a lot to do with breed. I have two pure bred belgian malinois, mother and 2 year old daughter. These are condsidered working dogs. For the first few years with the mom, I had no desire to train her, though she would just instinctively listen and do what I asked. The two year old pup I decided to put a little more attention on training her. And by little I mean a couple of minutes here and there. I only have to tell her once maybe twice to do something and it's second nature. She can be in full flight after a dog, cat, squirrel, and if I call her off she stops on a dime. Whether I have the pup retrive a dog dish or shoes or her own lease, this pup only has to be shown a few times. The mother who is about 5 takes a little more time to train, which I am putting in a bit of time with, and what is extremely successful is rewarding her with a small treat every time she completes a required task. And again with this breed, doesn't take much time at all. An extremely successful action is taking your dog out to a large field or nature path. Have a few treats in hand. Tell your dog to sit and walk away about ten feet. Call her and give her a treat. Do it again and widen the gap each time. Have her sit and stay, and repeat. In short order you should be able to make the gap a few hundred feet. Once you get this little exercise down pat, the dog will be much more under your control and much easier to train in any other aspect you desire. Utube has a lot of good videos on training, and depending on the type of bred of shepard you have will determine how much time will be needed to train the dog. It doesn't have to cost a cent.

Can't beat a jeep. Very dependable, which reminds me of the time I was involved in a little fender bender

Another medal for Canada is good. However Canada lost the gold on this evening by not playing smart. At the end of the ninth up by 6-4, is was a no brainer. Tenth end, just continue to take every rock out of the house and allow Sweden to draw for one. Canada would of won. Very disappointing loss. Cheryl Bernard did Canada proud, but knows she blew this one.

Canada should win gold. The players are all multi millionaire professionals. The rest of the countries apart from the US, not so. We have the best team money can buy

Thanks guys. The fish were caught on different days. The last bow caught this past friday. The bite is off by at least 60%, making for some real tough fishing. Only a few of us dieharts are determined to get out there.

Hi Lew, Sounds like you had a great relaxing time. Lakefield is a great choice. I spend alot of time in and around that town each summer.. Numerous K-Lakes just minutes from there. Thought of moving up there as well, but have not made that decision yet. Glad to hear your doing it Lew. You spent enough years in the concrete jungle. Best of luck, Dan

Great replies guys. Creative and hilarious Made me laugh as much as I did putting this post together -
After years of research, trial and errors on designs and finish, extensive testing on our local waters, we at Knightspoons have specifically designed a lure for the avid pike hunters. No corners were cut to ensure the best possible product for the money. This lure has a high polished finish to attract fish. It's unique shape was designed for a flashey flutter as the lure falls. The lure can be used as a top water or deep diving lure. It's long shank and unique design allows you to use this lure with out a leader. Much meticulous attention went into the details. As far as investers that may be interested in jumping aboard, only $500,000.00 is required for investment consideration. The lure is designed with an easy removable hook make this lure handy for other uses. Introducing the Knightspoon. For those sitting on the fence about investing in this new hot lure take a look at a few fish caught with this amazing lure at the end of the write up. Amazing. It really catches fish. Comparable lures like this would easily sell for $20-$30.00. I'm basically giving them away for only $14.99. And that's not all. If you act with in the next 24 hours I will give you an additional Knightspoon free. You just have to pay for the extra handling. Yes I know, this is to good to be true, but I'm not done yet ! For those that act with in the next 5 hours, I will send you the complete line of Knightspoons, including the Knightfork, the Knightknief, and the Knightpeeler, can scale fish as well. I have no pics of the additional lures, but I am sure you have an idea what these magnificent lures look like. These lures won't last act fast. Not available in stores. Send cash only to: Knightspoons c/o nearest donut shop I'll be parked at the back, with the motor running. Sorry all sales final.

The final word on Lake Ontario Trib salmon
knightfisher replied to bigfish1965's topic in General Discussion
I vote zero. We are already slaves as it is paying over 50% of our income on taxes and user fees. And that's not counting gasoline and booze taxes. The CO's have know of this problem which has existed for 50, 100, who knows how many years. More CO's on the rivers wouldn't change a thing unless the ''laws'' are changed. There is no way a CO could prove one was snagging a fish, unless it was a plain treble hook. One could easily say ''I was using my lure to try and catch a fish, but there were so many, it caught the body." Only if the ''laws'' are changed can the CO's do something, and they know it. -

Rick, am I understanding this correctly ??? You are suggesting a husband and wife who want to take their kids for a walk along some nature path, have to pay for that right. If that's so, we may as well give up all our rights.... ----where are your papers....no papers....lock them up !!!! -
OFN has gone downhill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The board is great, people will be people. As far as the unrest goes from time to time, it seems to me it all started when we let that yank on here... GCD -
I don't like the fact it cost $300 mil as well. However I like the minority govn. Keeps them honest to a degree, if thats possible. Nothing really changes who ever gets in anyways. Always wasting money, and hammering us with new laws, taxes or user fee etc. Yep, you have the right wing or the left wing to vote for.....but....it the same dam bird.

Wow, some great numbers there. Great job.

What are we doing to our environment

I also notice the Homo sapiens don't want to give up their life style, and most have already become mindless consumers. Pretty bad when 5% of the population of the world, Canada and the US of A consume 30% of the world's resources. I forsee a ''severe reality adjustment'' happening to us and our way of life in the next few years. -
An excellent video. Can we stop the madness. Enjoy.

Yes they did and it was sweet. Losing the previous two Grey Cups in as many years, the underdog Cats totally decimated the Esks. Was a great game. Great to see the Cats back in winning form with a good defense.

Diehard Ti - Cat fan. I remember when I was a kid at one of the Cats Grey Cup parades, one of the players ran over to me and gave me a football. Plus growing up in Hammy town, how could I not be a fan. Goooooooooooooo Cats Ti-Cat -argo games in Hamiton are usually good. My fave however was some years back when both teams in the playoffs had to score the most points in two games. Agros took the first game in Hamilton with a pretty good lead, the following week, in Toronto, Hamilton kicked butt and won the series.
