I'm in the same boat as you. I recently stopped smoking then slowly but surely got back into it. Don't smoke as much, but still....I ordered my e-cig it last week and hopefully should be in today. I'll let you know how it turns out. I have bought e-cigs at gas stations before and they are garbage. Good luck.

Was there last weekend and noticed that boat. It's an older boat and was thinking, if they really fixed it up it would be pretty nice. Now I see this, guess they should of fixed it up. Hopefully all oil\gas doesn't start killing off all the fish there. Fingers crossed.

That sucks big time. I mean it's always good to get out on the water regardless, but it's really nice when you put in the hours that you get rewarded with some fish. Did you try by the light house in Telegraph Narrows or by Forrester's Island? Those 2 spots I usually always catch something. Just curious. I should be heading up there sometime mid November, I hope the fising picks up by then. Btw that imaginary fish looks at least 34" long.

My sister lived on the Hamilton mountain, East 21st, and she witnessed a wild turkey on her street. Pretty crazy. I recently seen a deer by the shipping and receiving at McMaster Hospital. Was grazing perhaps 50 yards from Main St in broad daylight.

You don't have to confine yourself to the pond at 50pt. You can fish in certain area's in the marina this time of the year and you can also fish off the rocks on the lake. Both area's you can cath trout and salmon. You can also head down to Jordan Harbour or Port Dalhousie. Another area you may want to check out the old Welland Canal in and around Dane City (by the John Deere plant). Several different species there and not that far away either. Good luck.

I typically play at Skyline Billiards on Main Street West, just past MAC Hospital. Lots of tables, bar and big screen tv at back with lounges......

The previous owner was hit and miss with his mood, but he was a really good guy when you got the good mood. Think he was done for several years of the bait shop thing and ready to retire......However, Martin is the new owner and is a really good guy.....but am sure he is susceptible like all of us at times to our dark side. That is one of my favourite places to shop.

They are referring to the spoons you get at Peter's Tackle in St. Catherines. Custom made and very popular spoons and pretty cheap too. They do hold the glow a lot longer than cleo's...

I like them too but I could only find smaller ones for panfish....never could locate the heavier ones. Where do you get them?

Wow, that was more than a fishing report, that was an excellent short story. I couldn't imagine the crazy #'s of fish you guys put up, amazing! Are there any other species that swims in those waters? Great stuff.

I've had Gulp products dry up on me, but not melt. However, Trigger X I have had that problem. I checked my Trigger X twisters in the spring and noticed alot of them were disintegrating. And they were never opened!

Jigging is one technique I have not done enough of. I am going to try it more often when I go on vacation to Rice Lake coming up. What is your ideal rod and line you like to use for jigging in the weeds for walleye? ie. length, power, action, braid\mono\copoly\flouro.
