  1. Thanks !!! I know it's not a 220V plug ... just looks like one. I'm looking at a 3500w Kippor or Honeywell....those are in my price range.....I'm staying away from the King Canada... I used to sell those and Honda" $$".... from behind a parts counter both very problematic....I was really surprised at the Honda... I didn't expect so many come backs I was expecting the King customers........Kippor seemed to be the better brand that I sold. I'll watch what I run and it'll save me from buying a bulky 6500W. Randy
  2. I want to purchase a Generator ( I used to sell them but was never asked this question). The A/C unit on my camper calls for a 30A (large plug 'kinda like a 220V oven plug) circuit to run the A/C I know that a 1000-1500 watt Jenny will not run my A/C or anything for that matter. I looked at 3500's and 6500-7000 W and they both have a 30A plug... salesman couldn't tell me if I would overwork the 3500W Jenny or not. I also want to run the the Camper's microwave and coffeemaker, T.V and other 110V on it... the rest runs on batteries & propane. Thanks Guys!! Randy
  3. I also bring my pooches camping.... As for repellent I spray a bandana with Deep Woods Off and tie it around their necks seems to work.. I also take OFF Skintastic lotion and rub it on their abdomens. Watch out for BEES my Mini-Pinscher had a bad reaction... BENADRYL was a miracle cure... I now keep it with us where ever we may go with the dogs. If excited when traveling I give them each a GRAVOL before the trip.. My dogs are roughly the size of your Bulls head Jack Russel/Chihuahua and a Min Pin....3 years ago on NEPEWASSI (west end North Shore Rd near the Gunsmoke game preserve) @ my sisters cottage Paris(Min-Pin)with Tiny(Jack) close behind chased down 2 Coyotes until they lept into the lake to get away... so there's no way that a 1/2 smart Wild Canine would ever tangle with your Bulls. As for the Pokry's be very cautious as there are a lot up here. Randy
  4. VODKA A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak. After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done. The monsignor replied, 'When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip.' So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice. At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink. He proceeded to talk up a storm. Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on the door: 1) Sip the vodka, don't gulp. 2) There are 10 commandments, not 12. 3) There are 12 disciples, not 10. 4) Jesus was consecrated, not constipated. 5) Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ass. 6) We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C. 7) The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and the spook. 8) David slew Goliath; he did not kick the crap out of him. 9) When David was hit by a rock and was knocked off his donkey, don't say he was stoned off his ass. 10)We do not refer to the cross as the 'Big T.' 11)When Jesus broke the bread at the last supper he said, 'Take this and eat it for it is my body.' He did not say 'Eat me'. 12)The Virgin Mary is not called 'Mary with the Cherry'.. 13)The recommended grace before a meal is not: Rub-A-Dub-Dub thanks for the grub, Yeah God. 14)Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at St. Peter's not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's. Randy
  5. If cooked properly the "WORMS" parasites, will be KILLED and just add to the protein count in your system. I once remember watching a program on "Marketplace" ..The average Canadian eats 2Kg's of bugs/parasites a year without even knowing. Of course I eat Perch.. even some wormy ones 5-10 per fillet sometimes. But I have a limit....Unlike a lodge I used to work for.. we would clean INFESTED perch cover them in coating/batter and serve them to the guests...NOBODY ever got sick and even returned the following year and looked forward to the fish fry. Randy
  6. Nice fish !!!!.. Great report!!!... But ...... that Merc outboard looks rather BIG for that Lund. 14' Shallow ,Narrow w/40Hp?. Must fly RFS
  7. RUB IT IN WHY DON'T YA!! I had full intentions of getting there , It's just 20 minutes or so from my place...alas was unable to get away. I had a house full of people all weekend and a 13th birthday party for my son. I can GUARANTEE I'll be there next year. Randy

Change his spinnin' reel handle from L/R .. strip all the line off and reel it in backwards. Change his ball-cap size while sleeping and take all of his socks..re-size his lifejacket Here's a good one. #1.Tie a fake squirrel to a piece of fishing line 10" or so long. #2.Get Thumbtack and attach to loose end of fishing line #3.Attach contraption to inside of cupboard door. #4.Place fake squirrel inside of cupboard and shut door. #5.Set up video camera. #6.Ask fishin' buddy to get you a cup from the cupboard. #7.Watch and listen to your buddy scream like a school-girl after the squirrel jumps out at him. #8. :rofl2: #9. ** be sure that buddy has taken the joke well before attempting #8 Have fun... 13. Fishing will be good in August.. Pike and Walleye will be "ON" Well, it usually is at that time of year anyway. Bass is always "ON" and usually easy to catch. AS for Muskies??? HMMMM I've heard of them caught there but never actually spoken to an angler that has caught one... I've been fishing it for about 25 Yrs or so ... and a Buddy of mine has a cottage there and has been fishing it for more than 40yrs and has never caught nor seen a Muskie come out of there either. Water is still 4+' low and not rising very fast. Never stayed at Mountain Home...but the people who I know that have liked their stay. Randy
  14. I've seen flocks of 300+ There are many roosting but not nesting right here in downtown Sturgeon Falls .... IMHO... They should be harvested with the "much hated" commercial nets and sold at the Fish Markets along side the Walleye. We should be able to blow these devil birds right outta the sky at will with no permit .. and should carry a 5$ bounty per bird... that would be way better than getting $$$ back from the friggin' HST. RFS
  15. As much as the smoke reduced and the price tripled when I went from the Shell Nautilus.. to Amsoil my plugs last longer..... and when I went from Amsoil to Royal Purple the smoke is even less and the plugs stay the same.... RFS
  16. My neighbor found out that her dog ( a Schnauzer) could hardly hear, so she took it to the veterinarian. The vet found that the problem was hair in the dog's ears. He cleaned both ears, and the dog could then hear fine. The vet then proceeded to tell the lady that, if she wanted to keep this from recurring, she should go to the chemist and get some "Nair" hair remover and rub it in the dog's ears once a month. The lady went to the chemist and bought some "Nair" hair remover. At the register, the pharmacist told her, "If you're going to use this under your arms, don't use deodorant for a few days." The lady said, "I'm not using it under my arms." The pharmacist said, "If you're using it on your legs, don't shave for a couple of days." The lady replied, "I'm not using it on my legs either. If you must know, I'm using it on my Schnauzer." The pharmacist says, "Well stay off your bicycle for about a week." :rofl2: RFS

  24. We were also told by Dr.Mahomed(#1 Orthopedic Surgeon in Ontraio)that "Topical Analgesics" are a "Band Aid" solution and usually end up with a "Thermal" result like HOT or COLD. A5-35, Cold Heat, Lakota, Tiger Balm, are all "Band Aids" and relieve the pain temporarily .... these products are focused mostly on "athletic injuries" that are expected to heal not Arthritis which doesn't. He also recommended "Hydro Therapy" ..No,not electrocution but therapy exercises in "Tolerably Hot" water like a Jacuzzi... relief will be short lived but beneficial due to increased "blood flow". http://www.uhn.ca/media/faq/experts/medical/med_exp_mahomed.asp Randy
