Well it's not uncommon but they usually have the small white little grubs and they are harmless and you can just flick them out with your fillet knife but I have cleaned many many walleyes from all over Ontario and never seen a tapeworm that big myself I have seen them up to 1 inches but man that sounds huge !!!! I would look that up if I was you and just make sure what it is ?? Or if affects the meat ....did u take pics of it

You cannot put an out of season fish in your livewell !!!!!! It is illegal they have to releases immediately !!! Typical idiots if it was a bass and not a crappie !!!!!!!! Nice pike for you guys tho!!!! Next time write down their boat number and take a pic !!!!

No they are not harmful to the trout they are native and belong in the creeks and rivers !!!! Trout will eat them and they are part of the food chain !!!! They are not like lampreys !!!!!

yes just to name a few !!! but he wants boat rental as well,and thats a little bit more difficult,i would go where irishfield says,that outfitter has boats all tied to the dock and ready to go...and you will have a chance at alot bigger pike than in the lakes mentioned above !!! just sayin

the hastings and cambellford area have very high water warnings right now,and i doubt any outfitter would rent in those conditions?? thats gonna be a tough area to fish for at least another week,very strong current and i heard almost all the bouys are under water ...might wanna check first be safe not dead....

wow !!!! love the shot,another bird thats at my feeders all winter,i put out lots of peanuts for them,and they are smart they will weigh each peanut by picking them up then fly away with the heaviest one,its very funny to watch,i will put out a line of about 10 peanuts in a row,and they just go crazy over them....funny

Some years on the Ottawa river we still get fish that have not spawned right up till the end of may !!!! That's why now you really cannot keep any till June 15th !!!!! It took years for the MNR to listen to us anglers and change the opening dates !!!! But yes it's hard to know the spawning dates every year depending on the winter the water levels the temps !!!! It all has an effect !!!! For example 2 yrs ago we were catching crappies on our lake April 1st well this year the ice only went off April 16th so it varies greatly but good tip for sure mike!!!! I can't wait to have a fresh feed of good ole marble eyes !!!!!!! Another week to go here.....

Yes my boat sold last night !!!! The first person to see it bought it !!!!! He drove from almost north bay down to buy it !!!!!! And I'm still getting calls on it I'm amazed their was that much interest in it sounds like I could have got more it as guys were trying to buy it over the phone....

Nice lake O brown for sure !!!!! I used to have a blast getting them in the spring at the nuke plant outflow !!!!! Miss them days ..... Thanks for sharing we used to flatline j-9 and j-11 rapalas and sometimes the offshore yellow boards on the shoreline side and get them as shallow as 10-15 fow !!!!!! Cheers
