  1. I never knew that existed. Given the size of those fish, the rods must be extremely sensetive. I would like to get my hands on one for panfish. ( I may be completely wrong though :-), the rods could be the exact same as the ones that we use)

  15. Hey Nate, I knew that issue was going to come up. The hole was not large enough so we were forced use a gaff. I am not very comfortable killing fish of that size nor do I condone it. Funny enough, I don't even eat fish. However, given the circumstances that were presented at that moment; I did not have any other alternative. I am very sorry if you found that offensive.
  16. Hey all, Here are a few pics from my first hardwater outing of the season. We fished on 3.5-5 inches of GOOD ice with real nice conditions. The highlight of our day came just before 5pm when my good friend nailed a 11lber. He had never caught a walleye like that so this entire trip was dedicated to him catching one. All in all we had a great day; landing 4 eyes, 1 pike and a bunch of jumbos. We also lost a tonne of fish as most of the time they were hitting on the way down and which didn't give us much time to set the hook before they spit it. Here are the pics.
  17. New PB Bucket mouth... A little shy of 6lbs.... And I'm hitting the hard water on Wednesday for some monster eyes... So there may be another pic up here... 15lber I hope!!!!
  18. Good morning all, I haven't really been posting on here since the annual get together you folks held in Novemeber at the BOQ as I have felt a little embarrassed for something that I had done to my fellow members. I was supposed to attend that function but I pulled out at the last second and really made things complicated for some people (Gerritt & Bassmaster Mike) in terms of logistics. I am very sorry to all members who attended and I am sincerely sorry to Gerritt and Bassmaster Mike for throwing a loop in their plans. I should have bit the bullett and went, but I let my emotions get the best of me. Again, I am very sorry and I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a even Happier New Year!!!! Sincerely, Grant
