  1. Good Job Fishmaster-I know the guys had a blast with you! some people have to find negatives in everything! Hopefully we can return the favor on Simcoe. Mark
  2. Thats how it starts Ben-I started by accident, look at me now-hooked! these guys will be partnered up by next year!-I'm also throwing in a Strike Zone hat!
  3. I'm willing to put in 5 packs of Strike Zone dropshot baits to the winner-decided in a poll. Mark
  4. Awesome! the big smile says it all! nothing like taking little guys fishing!
  5. That is correct Bill it is a draw format, so you never know who you draw, as for entries check the WFN website, it's usually about half or the pro entry, but I would check, I've made some good freinds from my former ams, and have enjoyed my experiences!-If I inherite $$ from a rich relative I didn't know exsisted I wouldn't think twice bout the entire series!.
  6. One word Domination!! okay 2 words Total Domination !! GSP is the man! wow what a fighter! still in awe!
  7. Honestly -if you can swing it it's an awesome experience, I ve had am's tell me they will never forget the experiece of tournament fishing, it can be quite addictive , i will fish the Simcoe event for sure, and depending on $$ results ,I hope to fish Kingston also.
  8. Georges is the man!-seeing him comeback so strong after a devestating loss speaks volumes about his will and determination! Franklin Lutter will be interesting, after watching them both fight Silva -I'm picking Lutter-especially if it goes to the ground, Bisping over Mcarthy-ko , I think Starnes will pull off an upset, I think Bocek has what it takes to submitt Danzig, and JMac. to win, I really looking forward to this one!
  9. Nice Cats-they put up a nice fight!
  10. I use Solar Bat in Mossback green-this color was invented by an optician, and has a patent-great for sight fishing and work well in cloud and sun.-a lot of my fishing is done on Simcoe where visual is very important. Mark -
  11. Don't fish night anymore but had very good success with large gooey hot pink roe bags-usually tied from skein for added scent, with a small plastic luminiscent egg, on the hook shank- with a float and lightstick -slow pools are best, once in a while have to charge the egg with a small flashlight or light source.
  12. Jos is an awesome guy with a real true passion fishing, his store and customer service! I like to support as many small stores as I can.
  13. I hope you get to do at least one Stoty-great experience, I will be fishing Simcoe 90% Midland and hopefully Kingston, hope we draw, and Bassman , I know it's not cash prizes for ams, but I'm pretty sure the prizes will be worth something! WFN is serious about this series and won't dissapoint!
  14. Hi Tbay-yes I would wait for the opener, on the Kawarthas, Pigeon, Chemong all have good populations-float and mini tube is the best in spring, bring the polarized eyeware, they will sit in and around shallow cover, I wrote an article in the Extreme angler Annual on spring crappie-its at the printers as we speak-hitting the newstands real soon. Mark
  15. I wouldn't even think twice about jumping in for the right amount of $$$!
  16. Well -we went we drilled -we conquered the mighty yellow perch, had fun with the little guys-mission accomplished! now lets get this stuff melted ASAP and get some real fishin in!
  17. Just getting the 2 little guys ready for the final day of Simcoe ice going off Innisfil, hopefully some perch-I'll get some pics up with a bit of luck.
  18. Congrats Peter! hope you catch some big eyes to break it in! I';ll have to come up and check it out. cheers. Mark
  19. Send me a PM Marcer, I can help you out. Mark
  20. It was nice to meet you and the Missus today also Peter, hopefully more time next time! also bumped into another board member Fang (Paul) also had a good conversation, it was a fun lunchtime for me see you guy's again soon! Mark
  21. I've worn many different pairs of glasses over the years, I currently use Solar Bat in mossback green, the Wake pair are the most comfortable I've ever worn, I've owned some of the others and many times at the end of the day you take them off and think -thank God-no more pain! for the $100 range they are the best out there.
  22. I use St.Croix exclusively, I have heavy and Med. heavy, if you are flipping jigs or craws in really heavy stuff, then a heavy would be best, but it sounds like a med. heavy would suite yiour fishing better-good backbone for pitching plastic, yet soft enough to troll for walleye, -with a stiff rod you will lose more walleye because the trebles will tear, hope this helps
