  2. I've never fished with my mom, so consider yourself lucky. I just can't convince her that it is fun. I try every season to get her out, but she'd rather just sit on the beach with the kids. I'm sure you won't soon forget that time spent with mom. Sinker
  3. I've had mine busted too.......some people just don't know. I don't have a problem netting a fish for someone else, but your not gonna get my net in your hands. Sinker
  4. This is the first report with no "pose"......... And here I was all excited to see the new one Thanks for the report, looks like you fellas had some fun! Sinker
  5. I've had 2 dodge rams, and drove another for work. They are the only trucks that didn't cause me any grief at all. Biggest issue I had with the rams was a water pump in one of them. Other than that, regualar maintenance. Go Mopar! Sinker
  6. Have you decarbed the engine yet?? That would be the first thing I'd have done. Then play with the carb.....seafoam or power tuner. Sinker
  7. Honestly, I can hardly wait to sit and watch the boat ramp bozo's around here!! LOL. Nice fish Glen! Those crappies are slabs! Sinker
  8. Looks like a great time fella's! Nice to actually see some fish too What was the trick for the whities?? Sinker

  10. Take a look at the getting hooked trip for blues.......they looked like they had a good time!! http://www.gettinghooked.net/Episodes_2008.html
  11. I'd say that's a mink.
  12. I was wondering the same thing Cliff...... Anyways, I filled out mine. Thanks Ron. Sinker
  13. I was going to say at least there are less pics of the "pose"! Great report though, as always. Sinker
  14. Oh well.......I guess they'll just have to thin themselves out by doing stupid things, killing them selves, and banning all the good fun stuff for us sensible types.... Sinker
  15. Can't we just make a law that bans stupid people? That would make things sooo much easier...... Sinker
  16. Brutal. I really feel for that father. I also read the safety suggestions below that arcticle, and nowhere does it say one thing about pressure cracks. Its the cracks that eat you up, yet nobody seams to mention it in any safety resources. There was probably TONS of safe ice all over that lake. Sinker
  17. You reading this Chickenhawk?
  18. Ok, now I"m ready to rock Lets warm up with this one..... Then we'll get things fired up with this one.....
  19. I have one of those small plastic V type sharpeners your talking about made by lansky. It has steel on one side and ceramic on the other. I ONLY use the ceramic side of the sharpener, and only once in a while. 99% of the time, I just use a steel to maintain the edge. Sinker
  20. It should work if its not leaking. I'd say your carb is gummed up. If its running, try running some seafoam thru it. Its available at most NAPA auto parts stores. Sinker
  21. I would say there is prolly more now than there has been all season. Just take care at shore, and stay away from any in/outflowing water. Sinker
  22. I knew you were going to say that
  23. Emil, the best thing for you to do is just go up there and see for yourself. I wouldn't cross any cracks in my vehicle, but I know for a fact, there is plenty of good ice. The shore will be fine in the morning, but expect lots of traffic with people hauling off huts etc. I'm not sure how things will hold up when its time to come back in. If was you, I"d head out of innisfil if your set on driving out. There are no cracks to cross to get to the fish, just keep in mind the traffic the shoreline is going to see over the course of the day. It can only take so much. The cracks I crossed yesterday on the east side of the lake were looking pretty nasty. There was one that was open about 10ft, with whitecaps and water blowing onto the ice. I'd say that's all frozen now, and will probably look safe to drive over........just be careful out there. Get out and take a look at anything that doesn't look right before you drive over it. Bring your spud. I'm just going to walk. Better safe than sorry. Sinker
