i dont think you will have issues with that 7 moving on a larger ball mount. For a 9+ inch screen it becomes an issue for sure. I ran a 7 on a ram mount for a few years and it wasnt too bad those screens arent very heavy. I was running a 10 on the biggest ram mount i possibly could and unfortunately it didnt work.1 point

I use 2D sonar way more then I use DI. I use SI ALL the time to find weed edges, rock humps, etc etc. SI all the way over DI for daily fishing duties.1 point
