  2. Less money than an Argo, top speed according to my buddy 40 kph. My Argo cannot do 40 kph. Different machines, for sure, and I agree that it would be a lot of money for an ice fishing machine. My buddy was saying, the Americans are pimping them out, with bow-mount electric motors, power pole electric anchor pylons, etc etc and using them as bass boats but in swampy stuff. Who knows, that would not appeal to me! It was a very cool experience to be out in that rig. Doug

  4. Wow too funny....that's it ! I don't know too much about them, but in the videos I've seen they look pretty slick. I guess the one downside it basically has just one purpose....ice fishing. Unlike a bike, SxS or Argo, it seems like a hefty investment to use for only at best 3 months a year....down this way anyway. But given the quality of the ice the last few years, if the trend continues...hey, maybe it's the way to go.

  6. There has never been a death in Canada from refilling and there was one one death in the USA and they don’t know why but the guy had it in a vice there has never been a transportation accident with a refilled one they are illegal to refill Because the propane lobby spent lots of money convicting members of parliament that refilled 1 lb tanks would destroy the world if they are stopped

  8. I am sure this would be the case. same for an Argo without tracks, they just high-centre, wheels turn but the Argo stays where it is. A Wilcraft has slightly more ground clearance, but a much longer wheelbase and yes for sure would be SOL in deep snow.

  11. I agree with you 100% Terry, Emergency Service are in business for a reason and that reason is to help people when they get in trouble, whether it's through carelessness, misadventure, bad luck or just plain being stupid. Every year people get injured or killed doing crazy stuff and most times Emergency Service is there to help but it doesn't mean they also need to be punished for whatever they did.

People will never figure it out where the off road vehicle went through they should have known but many parts of the lake are more then safe for vehicles Where I fish I will not drive my UTV and a couple of spots I fish I don’t think I will walk out till we get colder or if we get colder weather just a nasty year for fishermen
