  3. Hi All, we finally pulled the trigger and got Starlink internet, WOW, what a difference from our existing, or shalll i say practically non-existent service from Bell. This means i can finally upload videos from home instead of having to sneak into walmart and use theirs. I have a huge backlog of videos to edit and can now finally just plug away at home and upload at my leisure. I started with the first file in my bunch which happened to be from last May at around walleye opener time. A chilled half hour with my puppy and faithful friend Roloff, paradise!

  4. At 60 (after being semi retired for about 7 years) I decided I wanted to do something different. I have always liked working with my hands so I did some research and decided "small engine mechanic" would fit the bill. Convinced a local shop to hire me with the understanding that I wanted to persue my apprenticeship. Two years of school (part time) and 5000 hours later I got my license. It was hard, I too had been brought up with the imperial system but I am glad I did it. Never stop trying to learn and advance your knowledge, I bet you will do fine you seem like a pretty smart young man!

  5. A lot of reports of fake and counterfeit goods being sold on Temu. The old adage "if it's too good to be true" is something to consider... https://www.makeuseof.com/temu-scams-to-be-aware-of/

  8. My wife has been in the travel business for over 35 years (one of the reasons I get around so much 😊) and she always recommends Guardian Travel Insurance. I recently took my 87 year old Mom on a trip to Europe to visit family, and it was surprisingly reasonable.

  9. If you ever need travel insurance Cliff, check out CAA. My wife is only a couple years younger than you and she's going to Cuba in a couple weeks and got full coverage for $300 A good friend of mine is a retired travel agent and he says CAA is excellent.
