  1. Thank you very much to my friends on the Ontario Fishing Forum for your very kind words to Trooper and I. He was incredibly intelligent, he knew how to open every door in the house, let himself outside when he wanted. Every night after after supper we would play with his toys, when he had enough of that he would go upstairs to relax and watch tv. Sometimes he would even close the door as much to say do not disturb, I'm relaxing and watching tv. The only door in the house he would close. LOL Thank you.

  2. Not many days like this left this year so I decided to get the oldman out for a little troll. Timing the cisco spawn is real tough lol! Was out a few weeks ago and water was 50, today you can see it's 44 (a bit cooler out in the big water) No muskie today but the oldman got into a real nice gator. Fantastic few hours out on the water.

  3. I have tried so many different brands and have settled on Loomis rods. I know they are pricy but the warranty and customer service has been great. 25 years ago my wife bought me my first loomis rod. A $350 spinnerbait rod that I cherished and took care of for years. During year 15 I broke it in the livewell hatch. Full warranty replacement for $12. So now I’m on year 25 of my initial $350 investment. I understand that the warranty has changed but for me you get what you pay for. Truthfully any high end line up deserves attention since all manufactures make a great rod. For me an all around rod is a GLX 7ft 4 meduim heavy. Can do almost anything with that rod

  4. A couple of my buddies went to fish the Catt today...had a great day with a lot of fresh fish coming in after yesterday's rain. No vacancy at the Angola Motel...expanding their search. Great excuse for wives and work to fish another day...

  5. Yup, definitely no laker fishing after Sept 30th up here We got that pike 14 down over probably 40ft but off a really steep shoreline on a 13in grandma. That bait has always been dynamite for me.
