The two closest drive-to campgrounds to the mouth of the Moon R. are Horseshoe Lake (privately owned) and Oastler Lake (Provincial Park). Moon River Marina on Woods Bay should be able to rent you a boat. Keep in mind, once out of Woods Bay, this part of G Bay is infested with prop eating shoals...so a lot of marinas have got out of the rental business. Gordon Bay Marine on Lake Joseph also rents boats...if you want to cruise past the shacks of the rich and famous...

Moon River/Woods Bay is basically all boat to camp sites in the Massassauga Provincial Park. You best bet would probably be Killbear PP. Should be able to rent a boat somewhere in Parry Sound.

I'm ok with them being recognized in their own category but not against natural fish.

This was my best bud Marvin who was my constant companion for 18 years the sadly left us 9 years ago. Wonderful pooch who loved riding in the boat and would swim all day long if he could.

Triploids are eating machines and should never be considered for world records. Just my opinion.

Looks like a "triploid" fish...in other words its neither male or female. Its sterile and can't reproduce, and therefore doesn't waste any energy in making eggs or milt, or engaging in spawning behavior...it just packs on the pounds. Just don't put the image on a can of Bud Light or Kid Rock will shoot it up....LOL

I have to assume this rod is long gone but I've heard of crazier things happening...
