  1. Yeah, same dude has posted the same thing on other local fishing sites the last couple of days. Obviously looking for a reaction. Ignore and they will go away.

  2. Cot and a pad together is the way to go. If a bear wants your food bad enough you're pretty much SOL. I use a "bear resistant" blue barrel and a cooler with a ratchet strap around it strapped to a stout tree. Only time I've ever lost food was when it was in a dry bag hung in a tree lol. In the shoulder season when bugs aren't a concern, a pop up ice hut makes for nice accommodations. A couple of those interlocking foam mats for the floor and a little buddy heater to take the morning chill out and you're on your way.

  3. PARTIAL! You lost it all! Businesses like this should be held accountable. They are Always happy to accept payment but not fulfill their end of the bargain. maybe it should change, payment on delivery like the old days, COD. Cliff, hopefully this gets resolved in you favour.

  4. Guys are shooting cormorants sitting on rocks on Pigeon from a drifting pontoon boat. Then picking up the dead birds by fishing net. Warms my heart 😎

  5. Been a long spell since I last posted. Been busier than all get out with tackle, farm and family. Still getting in my share of fishing. A few pics from Saskatchewan and from Timmins. George is starting to get almost to big to pick up and squeeze.

  6. Depending on the hose size I use the OMC Zip ties that are designed for fuel lines. They have a little bit of a curved seat so that when tight it gives it a 360° seal. I prefer these over the old clamps. They’re easy to cut off and change the lines if need be

  7. I think after this thread, testing the waters might be best if we camp at a provincial park Where the cooler can be left in the vehicle, and the bulk and weight of gear isn’t an issue because it’s being set up right out of the vehicle, not dragged out in an overloaded boat. if she enjoys that, and then perhaps we will pair down further and do some back country. thanks for your thoughts
