  2. Got out with the boy again this morning, he caught a nice 12.5 inches jumbo and another one about 10. Also a decent rock bass, they will be part of lunch tomorrow I might have to switch to worms for a bit to get some jumbos myself!

  3. Went out fishing for only the second time this year and first time with my brother. Less then ideal conditions for top water bass but this year has been pooched anyway so there wasn’t much to be done. All of my son’s fish were caught on a black plopper and my brothers’s on a white popper.

  6. Great haul. We fish locally the Nanticoke and Long Point areas on Erie for Jumbo's. The last few years have been stellar for very large Jumbo Perch, no let me rephrase that, not very large jumbo's but very, very ginormass Jumbo's. More 14" Perch have been caught and released in the last few years than all the 13" or longer Perch I have seen in the last 55 years fishing them. We are looking for that 15"er!!! The only thing that has changed is the size of the Emerald Shinner's we use to get them on our hooks. She's in here somewhere.

  7. I'm with you centa percenta on this one Albert. Slice it paper thin so you can see through it. Then put it in a pot of beef stock on the stove. Pile it on a crusty bun soaked in the beef dip. Mashed on the side smothered in the dip. This 10PM grilled cheese just ain't gonna' do it now not withstanding the paper plate going onto the bon fire tomorrow night. OK, I still haven't gotten the sugar thing. A mistype I hope.

  8. When I was at my worst was during the first week of March the same time the first death in Canada happened. I went to emergency because I thought I was dying and couldn't breathe. Doc had me there for 6 hours doing tests as he thought I was having congestive heart failure. Luckily the tests and x-rays were all negative but did show the glass fiber looking things in my x-ray. At one point my BP was 193/139 and pulse ox dropped to 80% at one point. Eventually I got better but I was down and out for 156 days. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, although there's a certain someone in Ottawa I would like to give a double dose!!! 😜

  9. There is your problem right there. Why release ? Just squeeze them and flush them. Get out there and WHACK, WHACK, WHACK THEM. Watch where they are going. Once you find a hole, chew some mint bubble gum, ( double bubble is the best ), roll into a ball and stuff in the hole they are going in . After that, grab a piece of tissue and wet it with gin. Lay over the gum . If it does not want to stay attached to the gum, remove gum, chew more and repeat from the beginning. If the tissue still does not hold, just stick tissue in mouth, suck the gin from it. No sense wasting good gin. Well,if there is such a thing as good gin . ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Had ya til the end, I know it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,LOL
