  1. Today
  2. I didn’t see too many either through the summer, then again I was mostly on the lake… lol. Lots about now though like you said.
  3. Just got back from Jiggy. What a great year for grouse! Funny year though didn't hardly see any all summer but boy were they out in force.
  4. Hi all, we’ve been enjoying a late summer here in NW Ontario, great time of year for getting a limit of grouse on your way to a lake you have all to yourself except the company you bring. Got out last weekend on Lac Seul with some friends from Wisconsin, fish were hungry and the weather was amazing, good times!
  5. Thanks for sharing
  6. Yesterday
  7. SOLD
  8. Agreed it looks to be a pure breed musky. The tigers have often lots of spots often, they are beautiful fish. Shown a couple of nice tigers. BTW they fight like devils. I've thought they outfight fight the pike or musky pound for pound.
  9. That's a dandy LMBBass!! This old fatty was just over 6 pounds. Often on the older ones the fins start to wear from fanning so many eggs
  10. Last week
  11. Such a great fishery up there. Have fun!
  12. I didn’t find any cheap lower unit oil. $32 a liter.
  13. Thanks I just got three. my max weight should be less then 2500# I think I’ll find a scale to see what it is.
  14. Princess auto has them on sale right now, these ones will give you a 3500 lb total capacity. https://www.princessauto.com/en/st205-75r14-5-bolt-trailer-tire-assembly/product/PA0008786410
  15. Thank you! I found and messaged him. Fingers crossed..:)
  16. I'm glad to hear that you had a great trip!
  17. I’m going to try princess auto. For tires.
  18. Wow I heard about Dave but not Ian, pretty sure they were both younger than me too, shame
  19. If you have FB look up a young man named Little B Bailey, I think he's in Guelph.
  20. I have 2 rods that need a new guide. Anyone near me you can recommend?
  21. We did Rizzo...thanks. And I figured it was a 'ski...but never saw it.
  22. I need a battery too and a charger if I get lithium. and a cover for 19’
  23. There's no doubt Dave that it was one or perhaps both who had worked on it, I recognize their handy work. Really good guys, I did get to fish with Dave once, but never Ian. So sad that they have both passed on way too soon.
  24. Looks like I need new trailer tires. what size tires for 2500lb total weight? one tires says 205 75 14. But it sticks out a bit past the fender. I’ll get rims too. I wonder if any are on sale.
  25. Sounds like a great time. Also sounds like you had a musky on....briefly
  26. Very nice, think it was Dave and Ian working in the shop back then
  27. Went to Go Home lake on 27 September looking to catch smallmouth and largemouth bass. Though I caught smallies they were all small a pound or less. Decided to fish for largies and I lucked into a few nice ones. I did catch one really nice one that weighed 5.2 pounds.
  28. We had a great couple days on Pigeon Lake. Caught a handful of small walleyes, but even I didn't expect that as it was sunny, warm and still the entire time we were there. Also caught several smallies and a load of panfish. The only real 'action' was I hooked into something sizeable when fishing a weed edge structure for walleye and it took me for about a 5-second ride then bit me off. Oh well...so it goes. We really enjoyed our trip down memory lane and shared many laughs and stories from decades gone by. Love that little town of Bobcaygeon...always have.
