Barry Willis Posted August 9 Report Posted August 9 My friends on the west coast are saying they are expecting a very good salmon run this year, record setting, into the millions. Especially pinks in the Fraser and other rivers. They all look awesome as always Brian and there is no doubt in my mind that they will all be very productive but I especially like the red, black and white one, the reason being it comes close to color patterns I have tied in the past for trout out here in Alberta and for salmon in BC. It never let us down. We have also had great success with the green and black pattern for Chinook and Koho. I'm sure your clients won't be disappointed. 1

I have about 10 guys that buy from me out there . It,s not many, but they trust me with what I do . I am very excited to see some of those in yaps. I have other news coming that will allow me to see first hand what the west coast is all about . That is for another day. Thank you again . Oh ,that red / black woolie, is the Coho killer here . Have tied hundreds the past 3 years. 1
glen Posted August 10 Report Posted August 10 I like the white one with The black stripe. What is the clear and black whisker called? Unfortunately I’m not river fishing for salmon. Maybe I can try flies for Brookies next year. 1
John Posted August 10 Report Posted August 10 They look awesome Brian. I'm sure that your West Coast guys and gals will love them. Would be interesting to see how they fish first hand. I see a trip in the making! 1
