petersaban Posted August 22, 2023 Report Posted August 22, 2023 I'll be up in that area on the September long weekend at buddy's cottage. Was thinking of taking the boat with me and fishing that area. Can someone point me to a boat launch I should be using? Fishing pointers would be welcomed and appreciated since it'll be my first time there. Thanks
LostAnotherOne Posted August 22, 2023 Report Posted August 22, 2023 There’s a launch at Port Severn beach and park. It’s right off the 400 across from the church. You may have to get a second mortgage cause it’s pretty expensive. Gold coloured Williams Wobbler will get you on the dink pike. I would focus on the north end near the mouth of Glochester Pool to get on some bigger ones. Good luck
CrowMan Posted August 22, 2023 Report Posted August 22, 2023 Try around the rock piles and string of little islands on the west end of Green Island....lots of Smallies. Drop shot and Ned Rig in natural colours. Expect some bite-offs from the hammer-handles.
BillM Posted August 22, 2023 Report Posted August 22, 2023 Pier 69 I believe is $30 to launch/park. Not awful, but it was $20 last year.
SirCranksalot Posted October 6, 2023 Report Posted October 6, 2023 FISHON is a good resource for finding ramps
