Grandkids are gonna make me broke going through worms at the dock.  Cutting them up in small pieces for panfish.

Anybody have a trick to keep a piece of worm on the hook?

I have watched sunfish pick a worm right off a hook with out even being close to the hook point.

The best bait for kids. If fishes are really hungry small plastics might do the trick.

Only way to save - grow your own :)

Wrap sewing thread around the worm.
