UV Resin WTB ?

Where can I buy besides Cabelas,sails and other fly places ?  Does HD or CTC carry this stuff ?

Michaels Craft Store carries this, my wife uses it for  crafts and I know that some guys use it as a rod winding finish as well.  https://www.eti-usa.com/envirotex-lite

 

edit: i see it is also popular as a high gloss finish coat on handmade crankbaits

Are you referring to the top coat hard nail UV ?

So that stuff is basically like a 2 part epoxy? Soft plastics don't affect it?

I use it for the fly heads Paul . And cover nymphs and scuds.

I used to powder paint my jigheads and if I wanted to add glitter just mixed some in some 2 part rod epoxy.

It comes in a light proof bottle. You need a UV light you cure it. I will grab a pic of it.

My bad, thought UV resin meant UV resistant,  not the UV cure dental stuff like they put on caps ands stuff with, pretty hi tech
