misfish Posted December 26, 2017 Report Posted December 26, 2017 Relax, take yer meds , take it like a man, and TIELAX. Today was the day I been chirping about for the past 2 weeks with some members here. First ice fish outing. Totally jacked. Get the gear in gear. All systems ready to go. All was prepared for this day. All pre reports were favorable for today's outing. I was like a kid waiting for the fat man on Christmas day. Nothing worse then chirping and having to back out because of old age pain, but I had too. I have come to the fact , I am getting old. If you believe that well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Anyways, I spent the day tieing , DR.Ketchenany prescription. A handful of #12,s.

Garnet Posted December 26, 2017 Report Posted December 26, 2017 Shimano have the best split ring pliers. The important thing is they grip ring well holding open ring.

I have a pair of xuron split ring pliers that work very well on most split rings, but I am trying to open the split rings on size 1 ball bearing swivels, and they are tiny. I have MS too and my hands don't work well, so it may just be me and not the pliers?

misfish Posted December 26, 2017 Author Report Posted December 26, 2017 Cabelas had the Plano Stow away water proof cases marked down , crazy price. Picked a few up. One large for my tying stuff.
OhioFisherman Posted December 26, 2017 Report Posted December 26, 2017 I might have to try that Brian, my mini screwdriver slips out too easily.
