limeyangler Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 Hi all, sat down by the lake yesterday evening casting giant minnows for ice out pike, not a single bite, but very relaxing.
manitoubass2 Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 Sweet! We have a lagoon by our house (sic), geese been here almost a month. Bummer on the fishing. Im gonna try either later today or early tomorrow. Hopefully decent pike are still near the creek mouth
OhioFisherman Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 Living here in the tropics, I am beginning to think they never leave, or go far?
ketchenany Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 The ones we have Close by are on the attack! There's one that nests in our local Canadian tire parking lot and four parking spaces around from the nest Is fair game.
npt1 Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 I have seen these birds threaten a person. If you see some young one birds walking around, the parents are not too far away and will make their location known. They also go poop multiple times a day, leaving a multi-colored log in your way of walking. New York city dispatched many of them due to this problem..
GBW Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 I had a wild one years ago follow me around like a pet when I was home. Even let me pet it and the kids get close most of the time. Yes the bird is nasty and poop all over but they taste so good when in season as a buddy hunt's. No I didn't "cook my goose" so to say.
