misfish Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 What a true gentleman to the sport of golf and an ambassador to the sport. RIP Arnold Palmer.
ketchenany Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 I've watched him since I was a kid. The man is a true gentleman. No matter how much I watched my game is, well, not good!
fishing n autograph Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 What a bad week for sports. A living legend passed away and a dominant not even in the prime of his career young kid dies in a tragic accident.
manitoubass2 Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 Arnold was the first "superstar" IMO And boy did he do it with class!!! Gonna miss seeing him at the masters
Old Ironmaker Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 The man single handedly put "Golf" into the homes and onto the courses of North America. He made it cool to golf when it was a game for the privileged only.

Well my parents did, but I followed them. Lee Travino and that 7 iron on the fringe. That thing is so accurate. When I seen him use it, it was always my go to.
GBW Posted September 27, 2016 Report Posted September 27, 2016 I watched a hour and a bit last night on the Golf Channel all the pro's and ex players calling in and or posting things on twitter. One thing I didn't know was he was a key factor in the Golf Channel. The "King" will be missed for sure but never forgotten.
