chris.brock Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) We may be counting our chickens before they hatch, but so be it. Anybody closer than Brantford with a good rep? thanks Dave, that's an option for sure \/ \/ \/ sweet Lucas, let me know, that's the kind of inside help we were hoping for \/ \/ \/ thanks Mark, we'd go to our Brantford guy before Kitchener but sounds like a good place Edited October 16, 2015 by chris.brock
dave524 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 I had the first few deer I got professionally butchered, but then I found that I preferred to bone them out myself after that, here is a good video that is close to how I do it.
farsider Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 There is a Mennonite butcher that I have used North west of Kitchener and was very pleased with the job they did and their price. Very clean setup. Cheers, Mark
leaf4 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 My uncle does in waterdown, off of hwy 5 I'll message him to see if he minds me giving you his info.
Dara Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Deer really is easy to do yourself. We have a butchering day at the end of the hunt every year. Everybody digs in and cuts and wraps. Ontario out of doors magazine has a good article about cutting this month
