We may be counting our chickens before they hatch, but so be it.

 

Anybody closer than Brantford with a good rep?

I had the first few deer I got professionally butchered, but then I found that I preferred to bone them out myself after that, here is a good video that is close to how I do it.

There is a Mennonite butcher that I have used North west of Kitchener and was very pleased with the job they did and their price.

Very clean setup.

Deer really is easy to do yourself.

 

We have a butchering day at the end of the hunt every year.

 

Everybody digs in and cuts and wraps.

 

Ontario out of doors magazine has a good article about cutting this month
