Rustic-Fisher Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Yes they can spray when trapped.... Just ask Ryan mc! Hahahaha, yep they spray just fine while in live release traps , "but" I've also caught one, blanketed the trap, and preformed a live release . Last one didn't go that way though.
lunkerbasshunter Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 my dog just got sprayed! Peroxide baking soda and dish soap gets the smell out, i washed the deck with it to and it doesn't smell as bad anymore either. Any oxy based product will help clear the smell out if it does spray.
LostAnotherOne Posted September 28, 2015 Author Report Posted September 28, 2015 Well two weeks ago I put around 10 rags soaked in bleach all around the area I thought that skunk was chilling and now he's chilling on someone else's property. Thanks guys for the advice.
adolson Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 My uncle learned that skunks definitely can spray if you trap them to a porch wall with an arrow...
