They walk down the street in the middle of the day here. Residential area. They're pretty comfortable, to say the least.

If you live in burbs and see a few 'missing kitty' posters you can be sure there are coyotes around!

They just pass through out here in the country, same with wolves, stay a few days and move on.

 

But GENERALLY they stay in the bush and not on our property

Pretty comfortable here. Nothing to fear in town. Most days you'll see one just laying on a front lawn like a neighborhood dog.
