RV site recommendations

Hi all, a good buddy of mine is on borrowed time so me and the boys are taking him on a road trip. He can't keep anything in his system for more than thirty mins so we figured renting an RV and parking it on the water was our best bet. Right now he's back with his parents in the Hamilton area and we don't want to drive more than 3 hours in any direction to limit the discomfort of the drive. Any recommendations of a spot we can park close to the water would be much appreciated. Also I've found one or two places that rent RVs but is anyone knows where I can rent real big one that would be awesome.

If I'm not mistaken there's a place just south of Bolton that rents the larger RV's, sorry can't think of the name.

Canadream.com for the RV rental... We see lots of them on the road.

 

As for location? Hard to beat the quinte region.

Bobowski ask a question the other day about Baycrest lodge; that caught my interest for an ice fishing weekend. Did some searching on the place and I think it might fit the bill for you? They claim too have camp sites to handle RV's.

I parked the RV at an campground in Stonecliffe

 

Full hook ups and had some sites that would fit my motorhome, It is on the Ottawa River East of Mattawa. However might be more than 3 hours

 

Good walleye and Bass fishing, They rented boats
