fishindevil Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 I'm heading to Haliburton tommorow as I did a lake in Bancroft last Friday so going to try a lake I have not fished since early July as I know the weeds have grown some there now so gonna give it a try !!!! Then I will see where to fish Saturday & Sunday based on temps & weed growth !!!!! Cheers & fish-on......

AKRISONER Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 lol @ weed infested...aka the lake is weeds thats it. personally heading to pointe au baril tomorrow, then boating down to parry sound harbour for the evening laker bite...sleeping in the boat overnight and rigging sunday morning before first light.

Sure, it might be busy, but weed infested? Nope, not at all. If you don't connect with a musky your doing something wrong on pigeon. So much structure, and lots of fish. Where abouts on the lake will you be? Maybe I can help ya out a little. S.
