bigbuck
Finally got out for an evening fish with my wife yesterday at the cottage. It has been 2-3 years since just the 2 of us have gone out. She's a LOTW girl that knows how to jig, thats it. Down here we have to work for our fish. Anyways, drifting around my spot on X lake, she nailed 2 3lb+ smallies to my one and assorted smaller bass, perch and some decent worlds greatest sportfish. For those who know me, bass is bait but fishing for anything beats not fishing at all. It was nice to get out with her and have some fun, especially the back and forth banter. She can bust them with the best of the boys.
Fisherman
Ha, that's good to have the other half in the boat now and then, at least she knows you go fishing and not straying...
Sinker
I fish with my GF almost exclsively so far this season. Its not a bad thing when they beg for you to take them fishing!! S.
Moosebunk
Hopefully more and more your wife will tag along with ya Buck. My girl is a quiet one most of the time, but when it comes to catching fish while out with me, she's an animal. It's always a great thing to get out there with the better half. Rod Caster
Good stuff. My wife can cast and retrieve a jig/grub for walleye better than most. Quite awesome to see her hop it a few times, wait for that light tap and set the hook haha
