BillM Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) Pike will usually spawn under the ice in a lot of cases. I didn't think Couch had a big population of pike anyhow. Edited May 7, 2014 by BillM
tizfun Posted May 7, 2014 Author Report Posted May 7, 2014 Thanks Bill.... I usually head into Georgian Bay, but thought I'd try something a little closer to home since I'm taking my 82 yr old dad along for the ride..
LefroyFisherman Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 At the perch fest last weekend I saw a couple of pikes cruising around in the marina's but it looked like they didn't have much interest in feeding just yet.
Dan668 Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Haven't been this year but I usually catch them in the south end literally out of the launch in the bed's
Dan668 Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 We were catching on gbay last week in nasty weather, so they should still be around.
