Worked a BPS classic years ago and he was there with his wife promoting Rapala . Honestly , he may be the most pompous arrogant you know what I've ever come across.

I watch the show, but he is a little quirky. Like when he puts the fish back in the net to release it, half the time the fish gets hung up in this net he so he starts shaking the thing the whole time stating how easy it is release a fish from the net. Or he'll say, "Barb, will you net this for me?", and of course she says, "sure", but I get the feeling she'd like to say, "net your own damn fish!!"

Too funny!,I usually still watch every Sat at 6 am.Good for a few chuckles during my morning coffee.

I loved the episode he did on eagle lake. Such a pike factory with huge numbers of trophy fish. During the show they catch nothing but hammer handles lol. Those "fishergirls" probably shoulda guided him that day

Aspects of the show are annoying and the poaching was lame but I like the fact that he fishes local everyday fishing spots. More realistic that a guy flying into a lake that see's zero pressure and catching a fish every cast.

 

I have yet to see a show with Aaron Shirley I thought he was doing something with Italo.

His show is by far one of the worst amidst a bunch of mostly bad fishing shows - yet I still watch WFN - I can't stop myself!!!!
