mj2112 Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could message me a nice fishing lodge for my 2014 fishing holiday. Preferably Northwest Ontario but not a necessity. The lodge I was going to book does not have an opening so I am left to try and find a place. I have read every post on here dating back a few years about Lodges and now I have a headache! I have fished in Quebec, Eastern Ontario, and Western Ontario over the last 15 years. I have had some nightmarish experiences and want to try and avoid that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike
Roy Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Pick out the ones you like here http://getnorth.com/ then post the ones you like to this thread and see what the community thinks about your choices. Does that sound reasonable?
mj2112 Posted February 5, 2014 Author Report Posted February 5, 2014 Yes that's reasonable. I appreciate the help.
BillM Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 You looking for fly-in? Drive-in? Specific fish you want to target? Time of year? Number of people in your party? The more info you provide, the better advice you'll get
mj2112 Posted February 5, 2014 Author Report Posted February 5, 2014 I am traveling with 2 people, drive in or boat in, June 21 through July 5 (any days in between those dates) Smallmouth, Northern, Walleye, Musky would be great if they all swam near the cabin. I have flown to Toronto, then Thunder Bay, rent a car and drive North in the past.
John Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Mike's recommendations will be rock solid...

adempsey Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Where were you planning on going? That might help with some suggestions.
mccwell Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I have been real happy with lodges in around the Dryden and Atikokan area. Browns Clear Water has several out post camps and boat rental options. June has been some of the best fishing so you my need to get going on reservations soon. Good luck.
wdodgetruck Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) You should check out Women River Camp in Ear Falls . We have been there a few times . Great camp. Edited February 6, 2014 by wdodgetruck
