Of note was the lure below-looks unused and good shape, and an older spin reel. Any idea of the age of these items. I suspect 1950's to 1960's, there are a few other lures that are similar but not in as good shape. Anyone recently fished an older lure? dave524 Posted January 13, 2014 Report Share Posted January 13, 2014 That lure is or is a copy of a South Bend " Bass O-Reno" it could date from well b4 1950, It is a floating bass lure, flish it much like a Jitterbug , steady retrieve with a few stops and jerks here and there.
